It took twenty minutes for the man to return and when he did, all of Izuku's plans came crashing down. Eri wasn't a woman, she was little girl and didn't appear to be any older then seven at most. Anger began rising inside him, but he kept a lid on it and waited for an opportunity to strike.
He could take Eri with him, but he needed to get Overhaul first. Even if he wanted to abandon the plan, escaping from the Quirk Overhaul had was not going to be easy. Let alone with a little girl added to the mix, so he approached the girl as the Shie Hassaikai's boss Overhaul watched carefully.
Reaching out, he took the little girls Quirk easily and paused as he realized the type of Quirk it was, then he turned to Overhaul who gestured for one of his men to stand up. It was obvious they wanted him to use Eri's Quirk.
So using the anger he felt over Eri he made contact with the man and they cried out of fear as they rewound out of existence.
~ Is that a good enough display, Overhaul? ~ Izuku asked and the man nodded, before gesturing for some of his subordinates to leave and he just smirked internally.
The idiot just told their only source of protection to leave, giving him full access to the man and they didn't even realize it. He wanted to laugh, they even left the girl behind...then again the girl was useless to them without her Quirk so it made sense they wouldn't care about her anymore.
"Interest, well you need to make a kill for the sake of the our group if you want to join." Overhaul stated, before their eyes narrowed." If you want to help us, then kill the girl"
Izuku's widened slightly and he turned to Eri, who was giving him a look of pure terror and was huddled on the ground. He reached out to her, before at the last second whirling around and catching Overhaul off guard. They tried to dodge, but it was much to late for that and his hand skimmed their skin.
In an instant their Quirk was sucked into his, leaving them for lack of a better term, Quirkless.
He used the Quirk on himself, repairing the damage to his throat and then let out a bark of laughter at Overhaul who realized what had happened. Slowly he stalked towards the man, before grabbing their hair and pulling them down to his level. A cold smirk on his face, he might have let the man live...but Eri changed that game.
"Your an idiot if you think I would kill a child." Izuku snarled, eye flashing red as he activated Eri's Quirk and the man instantly vanished out of existence.
When he was finished, he turned towards Eri who was watching him with wide scared pinkish-red eyes. He took a moment to calm himself, taking a deep breath, before walking over to the girl and crouching down in front of her.
He slipped her Quirk back, before picking her up gently.
"That's it, your safe now." Izuku whispered and he turned towards the base, cursing when he realized the members of the organization were rushing out to intercept him." Let's get you out of here."
With that he activated Black Whip and began swinging away from the base, making sharp turns in order to prevent anyone from following him. He'd been missing for about one day and he knew that Nighteye would be positively furious, but he also knew that he didn't regret the decisions he made.
Even if he should, after all...he did save a little girl in this whole situation.
"Was you name, miser?" Eri asked sounding tired and he looked down at the little girl who was clinging to him like their life depended on it, giving a small smile.
"Call me, Kōkai." Izuku replied and Eri nodded, before her head rested on him and her eyes closed." Sleep well, I will get you too safety...I promise."
