Curse of all Curses

You stood outside of the room still quietly crying to yourself. "I told him not go, why didn't he listen to me?" The door opened and Rei came out with a dark expression. "Is he okay? Please tell me he's okay."

She looked at you sadly and shook her head. Rei held up the arrow to you. "This is the Strike of Lucifer. An enchanted arrow, whoever is pierced by it's blade will die slow and painful. Before they die, they are shown their worst nightmares. I'm sorry, but this beyond my abilities."

You stayed quiet at her words, as you felt your heart want to jump through your throat. Your hands shook in rage, taking in a deep breath you glanced at the room.

"Where's Himiko?" You asked.

"I have her trapped in a room. You want to see her?"

"Yeah."

Rei looked at you concerned by the change in your aura. "Alright then." She turned and you followed her down the hall to a room some doors down. "Be careful."

"Don't worry about me." You said before opening the door and slamming it close. Himiko sat tied in a chair surrounded by symbols on the ground. She looked up at you and then glared at the ground. "I didn't come in here to watch you stare at the fucking floor. Speak before I make you talk."

"I don't have to say anything to you." Himiko said harshly as she glared up at you.

You walked closer to her and glared at her with rage that could burn through steel. She looked back and shook slightly at the darkness in your eyes. You looked up and saw a short sword on the wall. Suddenly you walked around her went to the wall behind the woman and took the weapon down. Himiko heard the sword screech as you took it out of the sheath.

Himiko saw you walk back in front of her holding the sword in your hand. "What, are you going to kill me now?"

"I'm not sure yet." You said before you pierced the sword into her leg she winced in pain but contained her cry. "Now please, tell me why you shot him down. Is it something you have against me? What did I do to make you harbor such hatred towards me. Because I know it was you that made those girls attack me in the forest." She kept, so you began to turn the sword while in her leg. She opened her mouth and whimpered at the pain as tears began to sting her eyes. "I asked you a question Toga."

Himiko gulped quietly as she looked up you wide-eyed. She was never this fucking heartless. She can't love him this much what the hell?

"It . . . was . . . the only way." She said quietly as you tilted your head at her.

"Only way to do what?" Himiko took in a deep breath, you snatched the sword out of her right leg then plunged it in the other. This time she yelled out in pain. "Answer my question."

"Our boss, he need . . . he needed his negative energy. That's he cursed him all those years ago." She explained though painful breaths. "The ne- . . . negative energy . . . increases his power. . . . And we . . . we . . . we wanted control over the coven your mother founded, . . . but in order . . . . in order for that to happen, . . . she needs to have no living descendants. So . . . so . . . we wanted to kill you and make Katsuki depressed so we acheive that."

You stayed quiet at her as you knelt, you were now at eye level with Himiko as you tilted your head. "You mean to tell me, that you ridiculed my existence, terrorized my family, and killed the man I loved. You mean to tell me that you ruined my life, for a throne that I don't give a damn about?"

"It's the most powerful coven that ever existed, it contains spells that could change the world itself. What do you mean you don't care?"

You narrowed your eyes and tilted your head at her words. "Do you see the way I live Himiko? Do you see me proudly flaunting my pretty faces, my magic around the fucking city. Do you hear me galvanting around talking about the witch coven that I inherited?" She swallowd hard at your as your glared at her in her eyes. "I just want to be happy. I don't give a damn about power, status, or magic. I just want to live, all because you were greedy I can't even have that."

Suddenly you smiled at her, you smiled and started to laugh. Himiko stared in horror, what could be so comical to you? It wasn't something she did, but more so something you remembered.

"Y/N sweet heart come here." 10 year old you heard your mother call from the bedroom.

You left your father at the chess game you were playing. Peeking into the room your mother sat on the bed and beckoned you to come inside. As per her command you hopped onto the bed and sat next to her.

"Hi mom."

"Hello sweetheart, I want to ask you something." She said as you nodded. "Do you love anyone?"

"I love you and dad." You responded as she laughed softly.

"Anyone, besides me and dad?" She asked again.

"I love Shoto and Momo, and their families. I love Mr. Aizawa and my classmates too."

Your mother nodded. "That's nice. What would you do if someone hurt them, and they couldn't defend themselves?"

"I'd beat them up." You responded quickly as your mother nodded.

"Alright then, there might come a day where you will love someone much more than you love the rest of us. It might happen, but it is also possible that people will hurt them in a way that enrages you."

You looked off in thought quite perplexed by her words. "Wait, did that ever happen to you with dad?"

"It has, which is why I want to teach you a curse."

"I thought you didn't want me to learn curses." You retorted confused by her sudden mention of it.

"You're right, but this one in particular, is just for when those you love are hurt in a way that makes you angry beyond repair." She explained as knocked on the wall behind her. A slot opened and she took out a black book. "Once I teach it to you, I will seal away this memory. So that you only need it for when or if this time will come. Okay?"

You looked at the seriousness in her face before nodding and she opened the book to you.

Rei stood by the door, she couldn't hear what you were saying to Himiko, nor did she think she wanted to know. Suddenly the door opened and you walked out the room. Your expression was blank as you passed by her.

Rei looked at you confused before she peeked into the room and her eyes widened in horror. "Y/N."

You stopped in your tracks and slowly turned to her. "Yes?"

"Who taught you this curse?"

"My mother did, she founded the most powerful coven of witches remember?" You said back as you walked again.

Rei stood there staring at Himiko. A black star was imprinted on her neck and her face was frozen mid scream. She knew this curse, she knew it well. The last straw, a curse that transported the person's mind to a nightmare space. But that was only the beginning. Because Himiko had taken from you what you loved most in this world, the same would happen to here. Not just in those nightmares but the real world. For the rest of her life she will know nothing pain.

A fitting punishment, for what she had dealt to you.
