"took you fucking long enough."
"good morning to you too", jisung fake-smiled at the boy.
"my cigs?" he asked holding out his hand impatiently.
"oh my god, give me a second. i just got here", jisung groaned opening his locker. minho watched him intently as he rummaged through his stuff.
"why are you looking at me like that", he mumbled, barely loud enough for the other to hear. he was always quick to feel awkward under someone's gaze.
"because you won't hurry the fuck up."
"can you stop cursing for once?" jisung questioned as he dropped the cigarettes and lighter into minho's palm, finally looking at the other. his eyes were bloodshot.
"are you alright?" he asked, worry in his voice. minho furrowed his brows at the younger's genuine concern.
"of course, why wouldn't i be?"
"your eyes are so red. have you been crying?" jisung absentmindedly reached out to minho's face but he only pushed his hand away.
"i haven't been crying. don't worry."
"who said i was", jisung suddenly defended, turning around to head to class.
"oh, really?" minho grinned, running after him. "sounded pretty worried to me."
"don't flatter yourself minho", jisung sighed as he rolled his eyes. "why are your eyes red then? you look sick", he still further inquired.
jisung leaned in closer, pushing some of minho's bangs out of the way. the bell rang signaling the start of class and students rushed to make it to their classrooms in time. minho hoped jisung would leave too but it didn't seem like the boy was going to drop it. "minho what did you do", he asked sternly.
"well-"
before he could explain himself, jisung swiftly reached into minho's jacket pocket and pulled out a small plastic bag. jisung's mouth fell open as he stared at the other in disbelief. "lee minho are you-"
minho panicked and placed his hand over jisung's mouth shutting him up. he grabbed jisung's arm and pulled him around the corner. the hallways were empty now anyways, but this way they'd be a bit farther away from the classrooms.
"weed? really minho?"
"what was i supposed to do, you took away my cigs!" minho defended. he had a small grin plastered on his face, finding jisung's reaction quite amusing. the boy had piqued his interest.
"what the fuck minho!" jisung whisper-yelled before hitting his arm.
"look who's cursing now-"
"minho that's really not the point right now. i took your cigarettes so you wouldn't smoke for a day. that does not equal to you smoking weed instead!"
"let's go talk somewhere else", minho suggested but jisung only shook his head.
"there's nothing to talk about", he grumbled.
"jisung let me explain." minho started walking toward to jisung until he had him backed up against the wall.
"you know what minho? it's fine, you don't have to explain yourself to me", jisung smiled at him. he grabbed the boy's collar and pulled him closer, making minho rest his hands against the wall, as to not crash into jisung. minho's breath hitched and he visibly gulped, not being able to look away from the younger.
"as you said, we're not friends, it's not my business", jisung lightly tapped minho's cheekbones with his finger, leaving minho confused. he reached toward his pockets, but minho was so unfocused that he didn't seem to notice.
jisung leaned in even closer, resting his lips right next to minho's ear. "you just need to be aware of what you're doing to yourself and that it's not good for you."
with that jisung slipped past him and walked back into the other hallway to his classroom. minho stood by the wall, feeling his heart race at an insane speed.
jisung turned back around. "bye minho", he grinned waving at him, his hand holding minho's weed, cigarettes and lighter.
