they managed to carry minho to jisung's house. since hyunjin was also injured, jisung and felix insisted they'd carry him on their own.

jisung unlocked his front door and they gently laid minho onto the couch in the living room.

he'd originally wanted to call an ambulance, but hyunjin stopped him, reminding him he'd taken illegal substances and that that would cause unwanted problems. hyunjin said they could attend to minho's wounds themselves.

jisung argued with hyunjin at first but felix said they should listen to him, as hyunjin had the most experience with these kind of situations.

"do you have a first-aid-kit?"

jisung nodded and left to go get it from the bathroom as hyunjin and felix sat down in front of the couch.

hyunjin brushed minho's hair to the side and examined the various cuts across his face. he lifted his shirt a little, exposing the forming bruises on minho's torso.

"will he be alright?" felix whispered, now feeling nervous after having seen minho's injuries. hyunjin gulped, he was unsure. it had never been this bad. but he didn't want to make felix stress even more.

"yeah. he'll be okay felix."

"hyunjin.. what happened back there?" felix asked softly, embracing his boyfriend from behind and pressing his face into his broad back. hyunjin hated the way the younger was shaking. he took ahold of felix's hands and smoothed his thumb over them.

"i'll tell you some day. now's not the time. are you okay with that?" hyunjin asked and he felt felix nod.

jisung returned with a kit in his hands and sat down next to hyunjin. they started by disinfecting and bandaging the cuts before wrapping his torso. felix stayed silent the whole time.

the younger reached for minho's sleeves to check if he had any more injuries but hyunjin quickly stopped him.

"hey, i'll do the rest. can you guys go get some water? and maybe some painkillers too. he might need them when he wakes up."

the two of them nodded at hyunjin's request and left him alone with minho. once they were out of the room, hyunjin swiftly rolled up the other's sleeves.

he grimaced at the cuts that littered his friend's arm. hyunjin traced them softly, barely even grazing over them with his finger. with each cut, he felt his heart become heavier and heavier, until it sank, leaving a horrid feeling in the pit of his stomach.

hyunjin wished minho would let him help but he didn't want to push his limits. he'd have to wait until minho came to him. he knew he would once he was ready.

hurriedly, he wrapped minho's arm in bandages as well, concealing them from the rest of the world. no one had to know if minho didn't want them to and hyunjin knew he didn't want them to. not right now at least.

"here's the water", jisung said as he placed a glass and some pills on the coffee table. hyunjin thanked him before saying he'd finished taking care of minho's wounds.

"do you need anything? any wounds we should bandage?" the brunette asked, noticing hyunjin's slightly bruised cheek.

the older waved him off, saying he already felt better than he did earlier. "minho took most of the damage."

they fell silent for a moment.

"where's felix?" hyunjin asked, not seeing him around anywhere.

"he's getting all the tupperware from the brownies he'd given me over the past few days. and i think he's raiding my fridge", jisung added and hyunjin's face broke into a smile.

"can you take care of him for the night?" hyunjin asked, gesturing to minho. he glanced out the window, watching the sun start to set. "i can come pick him up tomorrow. right now i should bring lixie home though."

"of course", jisung said. "make sure he gets home safe."

hyunjin promised he would as he reached for felix's school bag, figuring he'll carry it for the boy. he'd experienced enough for the day, felix was definitely tired.

"and please talk to him."

the other looked at jisung, who wore a slight frown. "he was really worried about you."

hyunjin scoffed softly at him. how ironic that jisung was telling him that.

"i will."
