felix was happy that his friends were finally coming to school again. minho, hyunjin and changbin didn't really attend class that much as per usual, but felix felt more at ease seeing them around in the halls.
the day after the incident in the alleyway, minho stayed at hyunjin's house for a bit. as it turned out, minho's home wasn't actually that far from jisung's but no one would've allowed him to go back there yet. so hyunjin prepared the guest room for his friend, who took his time to rest and recover.
when he went there he ended up telling hyunjin about what had happened between him and jisung. seeing minho act all flustered was quite the interesting sight, but hyunjin decided he'd tease him about it some other time.
minho also felt more comfortable with him treating his wounds. while he'd opened up to jisung about his problems, he hadn't showed him his arms.
it wasn't that minho didn't trust him enough, he just didn't want to emotionally dump on jisung so much at once. especially when he knew the other was still dealing with some stuff of his own.
"did you ask him?" changbin spoke up.
the four of them were smoking on the school's roof together. felix suggested it, as he'd missed spending time with them like this.
it was already long past their last class, the sun was going to set in about half an hour. they were planning to meet up with jisung and seungmin so they could hang out at felix's place. the two of them were still busy organizing things for the student council, so the others had offered to wait for them.
"that's too vague. ask who what?" minho replied.
"ask jisung why he freaked out that day. or who jeongin is." changbin really wanted to know. he wasn't necessarily close to the younger but he couldn't shake the bad feeling he had.
"no i didn't", minho said as he breathed out smoke.
"why?" hyunjin asked. he knew how much the whole situation bothered and worried minho, so he was confused as to why minho hadn't talked to jisung about it yet. "aren't you curious?"
"of course i am but i'm not going to ask. he'll tell me when he's ready", was all minho responded. felix smiled, happy that minho was so respectful of jisung's boundaries.
changbin raised his brow at him. "what happened to you? have you gone soft?" he joked and minho only laughed along, lightly punching his shoulder.
indeed he had. though it was quite obvious, he would never actually admit it.
"well, i'm gonna get going", changbin said as he dropped his cigarette and stepped on it, putting it out.
"you're not coming to my place?" felix pouted and changbin shook his head.
