Chapter 8 is the best chapter in the entire book if you think about how you would feel in the characters' positions. Kirstin loves Kailyn like her daughter, and Jacob is her boyfriend. Will they be too late to save Kailyn? Or will they make it in time? Will she be in that building, or will they give up hope completely?
