The following morning, Scott woke up to his alarm clock. Smiling softly, he got up and got ready. By the time he was ready, Kirstin was up and in the living room with Mitch beside her. She was snuggled beside her friend and he had his arm around her. Scott smiled at Kirstin as Mitch met his blue eyes.

Mitch: Are we going to wait for Rachal and Matt to get here?

Scott: I would much rather get there early...

His voice trailed off then he shook his head as if he was deciding something else or changing his mind. A sigh left his mouth and Kirstin looked on with curiosity in her brown eyes.

Kirstin: Please, Scott. Let me come, please. I'll stay in the car at least.

Mitch: Kirstin, it's too dangerous.

Scott: It's more dangerous if we left her here alone than if we took her with us.

Kirstin: Please, let me come. I wanna be there! What if she's there? Won't you want me to be able to be by her side in an instant?

Scott sighed as he looked at Kirstin's brown eyes, which were filled with love and desperation. He smiled, knowing that he wouldn't have been able to resist anyway. Kirstin leaped up and bolted over to Scott, wrapping her arms around him. He held onto her as they hugged.

Kirstin: Oh thank you Scott! You won't regret this!

Her tone was surprisingly cheerful as if she forgot that Kailyn was missing. She ran and got ready quickly. When she got back out, her smile had vanished as if she remembered that they were still looking for Kailyn.

Scott: Are you sure that you want to go today?

Kirstin: I am positive, Scott Hoying.

Mitch: I will feel better once we are on the road.

Kirstin: Me too, Mitch.

Scott: Alright. Kevin and them are going to meet us there and I have already told Matt and Rachal that they don't need to come here since you are coming with us, Kirstie.

Kirstin: Okay! Let's get going!

They went and got into the car, Kirstin sat in the front seat to Scott's surprise. He smiled at her as he started the car.

Kirstin: Thank you Scott for letting me come today.

Scott: You're welcome, Kirstin. Mitch, I am sure we'll find something.

Mitch: Scott, I don't think that we are going to get any closer to her.

Kirstin sighed and stared out the window as if she was wanting to hide her emotions; however, Scott picked up the tears that fell from her brown eyes.

Scott: What's wrong, Kirstie?

Kirstin: What are you talking about? I'm fine.

Her tone had a slight flicker of anger as she stared out the window as they turned onto the road that the house was on. Once parked, Kirstin sighed again and reluctantly stayed in the car as Scott and Mitch got out to join the group of people. Scott walked up to Jacob, who smiled warmly.

Jacob: Good Morning, Mr. Hoying. Did you sleep well last night?

Scott: First of all, call me Scott. Second of all, yes I did and I believe that Kirstin slept well also

Jacob: That's good to hear. We are just waiting for Samantha to get here, then we will head inside. I am going to send in Jasper first then we'll follow him.

Mitch was staring ahead at the door and Scott sighed. Jacob followed Scott's concerned blue gaze and he asked.

Jacob: Is he doing alright?
