The drive home was long due to traffic. Karl and Alex sat in the far back while Ashton and Katherine sat in the middle row seats. Karl's head was laid in Alex's lap while she leaned on the window, both asleep. Katherine and Ashton were also asleep, leaning on one another for support. Alex's mom just smiled as she drove down the highway.

Once they finally arrived home, Alex's mom woke them all up with a soft voice.

"Guys, we're here." She spoke. Alex woke up, tapping Karl's forehead softly for him to wakeup. Once he sat up, she flicked Katherine in the head and she then woke Ashton up, silently cursing at Alex for flicking her.

Karl grabbed his bag and followed Alex into the house.

"Lex!" Lily exclaimed whenever they walked inside. She picked Lily up and that's when she saw Karl.

"Kar! Kar! Kar!" Lily exclaimed happily. Karl said hello with a smile before asking to take a shower.

"Ashton, since it's already late, if you would like to stay the night you can. If not then just let me know and I'll take you back home." Her mom said with a smile.

"Am I good to stay?" Katherine asked with a smile.

"Always, Katherine. You never have to ask."

"Alright Karl, go shower. I'll be in my room whenever you get out." Alex said with a smile, leading Ashton and Katherine to her room. Her parents had bought an extra twin bed for when Katherine stayed the night so the pair didn't have to share the small twin all the time. Especially since Lily started sleeping with Alex in the middle of the night sometimes.

"Alright, you guys can do as you please. I'll be playing Minecraft on my pc." She said with a smile.

"Wait, are you and Karl official?"

"I mean, he asked me after the game so yeah, why?"

"Because you're wearing his soccer hoodie. That's like a football player giving his cheerleader little girlfriend their varsity jacket, bro." He said with a smile.

"Dude, you and Katherine are made for each other." Alex replied with a laugh before putting on her headset and playing the game. She simply added onto her world. She had already beat the game as a whole and wanted to make a nice little world just to survive in.

After about half an hour, Karl came and pulled her headset off gently.

"Hello." He spoke softly with a smile.

"Hi." She replied, looking up at him.

"Now that Karl's back from his long ass shower, do you guys wanna watch movie in the living room?" Katherine asked.

"Sounds dope to me." Ashton said, sitting up on the bed.

"Yeah, sure." Karl said, Alex nodding in agreement. They all walked to the living room and started picking through movies. Karl and Alex shared a couch while Ashton and Katherine shared the other. Both pairs cuddling under blankets. They decided on a tv series instead and started watching that.

Halfway through the show, Alex felt a small body climb onto the couch.

"Lil, you okay?" Alex asked softly, still playing with Karl's hair. She nodded and curled up on top of Karl since he was laying on top of Alex.

"Hey, Lil." Karl said gently, playing with the younger girl's hair as she fell back asleep. When the time was nearing midnight, Karl and Alex both fell asleep. Ashton noticed and nudged Katherine to look.

"Take a picture." Ashton whispered.

"Oh my gosh, you're a genius." Katherine responded sarcastically. She took a picture with the flash, praying neither would wake up. Neither did and slept softly through it. As Ashton and Katherine were falling asleep, they decided to turn off the show and wake the others up so they could move into the guest room. There were two twin sized beds made up in there and extra air mattresses for emergency.

"Karl, we gotta get up." Alex said, gently ruffling his hair to wake him up.

"Mm, okay." He said tiredly. Alex carefully moved from under him and picked up Lily to put her back to bed. She walked back out to Karl from her room and hugged him as he was folding a blanket.

"Hey, you didn't have to come back out." Karl said softly.

"I know, I just wanted to say goodnight." She replied with a smile. They said goodnight before going to their respective rooms.

"So you have a boyfriend." Katherine whispered into the darkness.

"Yeah, do you like him?"

"Alex, he's perfect for you. I love him."

"Good, good. Goodnight, I love you."

"I love you too."

Alex curled up next to Lily and fell asleep with a smile on her face.
