My Nimrod <3 wants to FaceTime...

"Hello, are you okay?" Alex asked, finally looking up to see him sweating and covered in candy?

"Yes, I might need a ride. I got a ride here since my car is in the shop right now."

'"You are not getting into my car drenched in sweat and fucking candy, Karl Jacobs."

"Please." He begged.

"Did you win the challenge?" She asked, closing her computer lid and walking downstairs.

"Yes I did." He said with a smile.

"Then fine, I'll be there in a bit." She said with a smile.

"You would have picked me up anyway, stupid." He said with a fond smile.

"Yeah whatever." She replied, hanging up on him and getting into her car. She put her phone on do not disturb and played her music in the car, driving to the warehouse she'd been to once before.

When she arrived, she saw Karl soaking wet and shaking his head to fix his hair.

"Why the fuck are you sopping wet, Karl." She said, getting out of her car and walking towards them

"Jimmy sprayed me with the hose." He said with a giggle.

"That would be me." He said, walking over and introducing himself.

"I'm Alex, I'm here for his stupid ass. You're lucky I brought you clothes because I was not letting you get into my clean ass car all fucking dirty. We don't play soccer anymore, you don't need to be getting my car dirty." She said with a laugh.

"Do you happen to have a towel?" Karl asked, looking at her with a smile.

"You're lucky I keep my car prepped, Jacobs."

"I'd be lost without you, my dear." He said with a cheesy smile.

"Yes, you fucking would." She replied, going to her trunk and grabbing a towel.

"Karl!" She heard another guy yell.

"Chris!" Karl yelled back, she assumed that was the other guy's name.

"You have a nice car." Jimmy said, walking over and leaning on it.

"Yeah, I've had it since my junior year of high school. I try to keep it as in good condition as possible." She replied with a smile.

"So you and Karl have been friends for how long, again?" He asked, moving from the car as Alex shut the trunk.

"Since high school, though we fell off for a bit." She replied, walking to Karl with the towel. "Oh, I meant to ask if you were going to Ashton's party tonight. If so I can give you a ride and come home instead of staying."

"I don't want to make it so you can't stay, though." Karl said, towel drying his hair some.

"No, it's fine you just have to tell me." She said with a smile.

"Yeah, I was gonna go." He said, throwing the damp towel at her head.

"You, Karl Jacobs, are a dick." She smiled.

"I am not." He said with a small laugh. "Give me the clothes, I need to change."

"There are far nicer ways to ask." She said, not moving. He decided kissing her cheek rather than asking again was the best way to do that. She walked away to get the clothes as her cheeks started to turn red.

"Yeah, Karl!" Chris screamed, punching his fist in the air.

"Here are your clothes, I brought you a pair of boxers sweats and a t-shirt. The t-shirt and sweats are Ashton's that he leaves at my house but the boxers are mine so they need to be returned."

"You wear boxers?" He asked, grabbing the clothes with a small smile.

"Yes, they are rather fucking comfortable, now go change while I talk shit about you to your friends." Alex said, smiling innocently at him.

"You're so mean to me." He sighed, walking away.

"So you and Karl?" Chandler asked, walking up to Alex.

"What about me and Karl?" She asked, acting like she had no idea what they were talking about.

"Are you a thing?" Jimmy asked.

"No, we aren't. Why do you ask?"

"You guys look like you'd be a good couple."

"Maybe one day." She said with a hopeful smile.

"Maybe one day what?" Karl asked, walking over and clinging to Alex.

"Karl, you're hair is still wet." She said hugging his arms with a smile.

"Yeah yeah." He said with a smile, rubbing his wet hair on her neck.

"Karl! Your hair is cold!" She said with a smile.

"Can I drive your car."

"Fuck no, the last time you drove it we almost died."

"What? How did you almost die?' Chris asked, laughing at Karl.

"I was seventeen!" He said in a defensive tone.

"You had your license and still almost killed us both!"

"Well I'm better now." He said, laying his chin on her shoulder.

"To answer your question Chris, he looked away from the road and didn't see the red light in New York fucking City, and we were so fucking close to being t-boned. Luckily he sped up enough that they barely scraped my bumper. We did get cussed out though." She said with a smile.

"Not my brightest moment, I'll admit."

"He is a lot better of a driver though." Jimmy said, defending his name.

"Do not defend him right now." Alex said with a smile. The group talked for a few more minutes before Karl and Alex decided to head back to her house to hangout for a little bit before going to Katherine's. She decided to go a few days earlier so she could still stay the night and Karl was off work for a few days since he'd been going nonstop for weeks.
