Jungkook:-

It had been months, months since I heard her sweet voice directed at me. Months since I saw her eyes that swirled with so many emotions that I couldn't comprehend. Months since I saw her sad smile which didn't reach her eyes. It had been months since I had been around Olivia physically.

I was outside the club, making my way inside the club I had to meet a client before coming here. Min-Young was also in the graduating batch, so being the only friend that I could freely hang out with these days, we decided to come to the club where all the graduating students were.

I put my phone back in my pocket after replying to Min-Young's message that I was there. I almost would have missed Olivia if she didn't literally bolt out of the place. I saw her breathing heavily, looking up the sky as she sported visible discomfort on her face.

I was rooted to my spot, debating should I go about talking to her or should I just ignore her as I have been doing these past months. She also didn't look welcoming, if I must say, she looked like should would prefer it if no one bothered her right now.

Oh fuck it.

I walk up to her, giving it a few seconds before I call out to her.

"Liv?" I called out, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.

I saw her flinch and then slowly turn around me, I knew that she knew it was me. She would recognize me anytime and anywhere.

"Hey Jungkook..." She spoke softly, as if the weight of the world rest on her shoulders and she barely had the energy to speak in her usual husky voice.

"Why are you out here?" I ask cautiously, not wanting to egg her on so that she runs away from me.

"I am not feeling well, it's been a long day." She said as her voice trailed off.

I watched her eyes for a minute which seemed to hold a whirlwind of emotions in them. It was weird, there was an unexplainable sadness to her expression which I wanted to wish away from her face.

"Well then, I hope you go home safely and get some rest. I am sure you're tired." I said, not wanting to prolong this conversation any more than I have to.

It was still weird between us.

"Yeah, have a good night Kook." She said with a sad smile and walked away.

My heart fluttered at the nickname, for a moment, I had the urge to hold her hand and bring her back into my embrace. To kiss away her sadness, no matter what it was. But, I was not the one who she wanted or needed.

With Liv gone, I walked inside the club. Instantly engulfed in loud music, vibrating floors with the booming music, all kinds of lights flashing around, excited screams and squeals. It was perfect to drown your thoughts, at least temporarily.

"Googieeee!" I heard someone familiar squeal.

"Noona, you really got to hold your drinks better if you want to get shit faced." I said as I was being dragged deeper into the club by hand.

"Oh who cares! My liver's already facing it, might as well put it through hell for a night." Min-Young said as she pulled up to the bar and ordered another round of whiskey.

Sitting by the bar, I scoured through the club, everyone was either drunk already or were getting progressively drunk. I saw the group dancing on the dance floor. Hobi Hyung was dancing with the girl I only met once, months back. I saw Yoongi Hyung and Yuki noona coming out of the bathroom, with their faces visibly flushed and their appearances disheveled.
