Before you read: please keep in mind this fanfiction has nothing to do with the actual people because it's purely a figment of imagination. Do not take anything written here, otherwise! Thank you!

Olivia:

The horns and sirens echoes through the concrete jungle, I drag my feet as the red light turned green, the horde of suit clad people dragging themselves as well to go across the street after a long day, just as myself. Nobody cared what happened to the person standing next to them, everyone minding their own business. The air around me was chilly but the indecisiveness of people around me has a chill running down my spine.

I take quick strides seeing my dorm nearby and in a matter of minutes, I find myself opening the glass door of the building and stepping inside. The warmth enveloped me as soon as I stepped in, my body relaxes to the warm air that surrounds the lounge area of the building.

"You're late" I hear the dorm mother say as she sends a smile on my way.

"Yes, I know Ms. Nam. I have taken a few more shots for my new project, I lost the track of time while doing that." I smile coyly, slowly unwrapping the muffler from my neck.

"That's fine. You are an adult, but please remember that if you're going to be late, let me know. Otherwise the door closes at 10." Ms Nam said softly.

"Thank you for understanding, Ms. Nam. I will keep it in mind next time." I said and walked away from the lounge towards the elevator.

Thankfully, the dorm had elevators, so going upto the 10th floor was no big deal. For a building that was once a shady hotel and now a dorm space for various college students, it was quite a inconspicuous place to live in. If someone asked me to lug this heavy equipment once again and take the stairs one more time today, I would have just dropped the bag and walk out of the situation right then and there. The recent days make me realise exactly how unhealthy I am and how desperately I am in need of exercise.

With random thoughts swirling in my head about the new project that I had to complete for the first half of this semester, it was taking up all of the head space leaving nothing but exhaustion behind. I had no time to think about anything else, which was good in a way, settling in a new place is already hard as it is but for someone with anxiety about how they will fit in, this was a more favourable situation for me. Afterall, an idle mind is the devil's workshop.

I unlock the door to my room and drag myself into the dark room, I walk inside and lights in the entrance automatically turn on as the automatic door closes behind me with a thud followed by a cheery music. I walk further in and hit the switch to turn on the lights in my kitchen cum dining room, as soon as the room was illuminated by the yellow lights, my eyes took a few minutes to adjust. Sighing, I let go of the heavy bag that sat on my shoulder and start walking towards the couch which was basically a nestled place to keep my filming equipment, dumping the equipment I carried today and the books on a lone corner of the room, I made my way to the bedroom to get some clothes. My dorm room was not huge, just a cosy little space with a small kitchen and a decent sized living room of sorts but that being said, the bedroom was big enough fit two people, just as you would expect from a hotel style room. The yellow lights only made it cosier, one big ceiling to floor window by the bed which overlooked the city of Seoul. I pull away the drapes to unveil the night view of this city, flashing lights and people just existing.

Just like myself.

I push my thoughts away as it slowly starts to spiral somewhere abysmal. Much like the inside of a well, from which you can never climb out of, even if you had the best of the tools right there in front of you.
