Starclaw's POV

Starclaw wanted to fly after him, but Sage stopped her. She scowled at her but decided it was too dangerous to go anyways. Suddenly, a whole army of dragons flew overhead in a warm blast of air.

She realized they were probably going to attack her village. They needed to go after them to protect the wolves!
She turned to Sage and said, "we need to go after them. I think they are going to attack our village. We have to help fight! Without Moonstone, I'm not sure our village can hold our own. On the battlefield, Moonstone had always defeated at least half of the enemy."

"Starclaw, chill. You had me at 'attack our village.' Stop wasting time trying to convince me when I'm already convinced, and let's go!"

They started running, then Starclaw grew her wings, then grabbed sage as they leaped off the ground and started flying, but still low so the dragons couldn't see them at the beginning of the day, so the dragons headed for Ultimuna. The exact place she did not want them. That was when she flew as fast as she could.

As she landed next to the building covered in trees, Sage stopped her.

"Is this their secret hideout? It could be super dangerous if we go in there."

"No, it's my school sage. And we should be fine as long as I'm here. I was born into battle, so."

"But it still isn't safe."

"It's OK to take chances, you know. In combat, it is always survival over safety." Starclaw said and ran inside before Sage could make another counterargument.

Everyone seemed to be screaming at the sight of dragons, but that was not what Starclaw was worried about. What she was concerned about was the familiar wolf-dragon-like figure standing in the chaos of it all.

"Moonstone?" Starclaw shouted just enough for everyone to stop what they were doing and stare at her.

As Moonstone turned around, she could tell she was furious and ready to kill anyone and everyone, but Starclaw could see deep in her eyes that she was terrified.

Moonstone growled and lunged at her, and the rest of the dragons did the same. She rolled out of the way and flew upwards, just out of Moonstone's reach, with her wings.

She would have to explain to all the wolves later, but she needed to focus on getting her sister back to herself. That's when Sage screamed for her, and then familiar tentacles came out from her Lunar stone once more, but instead of fighting Starclaw, they went for the dragons. She was suddenly hit with a colossal migraine because all of her power and strength was going to her Lunar stone.

All Starclaw could do was just collapse and lay there listening to the SWOOSH of her magic and the pups screaming and the dragons roaring until Moonstone came at her from behind and stabbed Starclaw in the back with her sharp talons. Her sharp talons dug in deep, but she was too weak to scream help for her friends. Then suddenly, Moonstone threw her against the wooden, tree-like walls, knocking her out cold.

It was a complete void in her mind, and the only thing she could think about is why Moonstone had done this and what had happened to Finn. What is going on with her Lunar stone? The questions surrounded her, overwhelming her, suffocating her. She needed to stop thinking about these questions before they mentally killed her.

She tried to connect to Moonstone through their Lunar Stones like Finn had described Moonstone had done before. Though it was like a wall, stopping her from reaching her sister. She felt fierce protection and love burst through her from who knows where, and pushed against it, finally broke in.

Moonstone? Are you there? What is going on? Why are you doing this? I know you would never do anything to the wolves, especially me or Finn.

Queen Errier is controlling me. I can't stop her. I don't know how she is doing this, but I am so sorry. I am trying my hardest to overpower her, but I'm just too weak. I can't .....Wait, do you feel that?

A weird feeling like the one that had hit her when she first looked Moonstone in the eyes all those years ago was wrapping around her. Something powerful, unnatural, though this time it seemed evil. Then that force seeped deep into her head and took her mind out of whatever void it had been in.

She groaned and opened her eyes only to see Moonstone standing over her with those cold, evil eyes. She wondered if that was what the actual queens of dragon's eyes were like when she was herself.

Suddenly, Moonstone grabbed her, her extra sharp claws digging deep into her fur. She whimpered from the pain. Gosh, she hated making that sound of weakness. She shouldn't be focusing on that. She should be focusing on how to help her sister.

She realized with a sinking feeling that there was only one way to do that. But she was willing to do anything for her. So, with dread filling her, she let her Lunar Stone create those tendrils like before.

The tendrils stretched out, and just like she wanted them to, they connected with Moonstones. There was a flash of blinding light and excruciating pain went through her entire body.

But then the light cleared, and Starclaw was on her paws in an instant, even though there was still excruciating pain in her back, but couldn't control herself. Spots still danced in her vision, but Moonstone was staring at her with a sad and exhausted expression when they cleared. But then her sister collapsed, and without her consent, she laughed hysterically at her adopted sister even though she didn't want to. She then realized that what she had wanted to happen worked. The queen of dragons was controlling her. And nothing she did could stop it.
