THE MUSTAFAR SYSTEM DID VERY LITTLE TO SHOW THE TIME OF DAY, the thick ashy pollution blocking any sign of the moon or star. The lava never seemed to stop throwing around polluted smoke, the grainy ground slipping deeper and deeper into the molten. Everything about the lava planet was dark, sinister, and uninviting. Swiveling his head to the side, Vader frantically looks for Astrid, instinctively relaxing when he sees her peacefully resting, covers held to her bare chest. A sigh of relief slips from his lips as he lays back down and turns to look at her.

He had dreamt of that doomed night on Mustafar, the night he had lost himself, the night he had lost her. But this time he had actually lost her, and not by his hand, by Palpatine's. The man had flown in to assist Vader with his fight against Obi-Wan, but in the end, a crimson saber was pierced through her pregnant belly.
