We have been so busy lately our anniversary has almost been forgotten until I glanced at my watch and saw the date.
I talked to mom and she is keeping Sadie while I take my beautiful wife out to a nice dinner in town.

"I am dressed up because it is our first anniversary and I have a dinner reservation for us and mom has Sadie."

We walk out to the SUV and get in and I drive us to town.

We pull up at the best steakhouse in town and I walk around and open her door and help her out.

We were seated and looking at the menus and we order some appetizers and a bottle of wine.
Our appetizers and salads were brought out while waiting on our steaks.
"This is so nice of you Stone." She smiled.
"I would do anything for you Ches you should know that. I do have you a gift that I had ordered a few weeks ago but it comes in handy for today."
I pull a box out of my pocket and place it on the table in front of her. She smiled at me as she opened it.
"Oh Stone this is beautiful!"
"It is a mother's ring with Sadie's birthstone in it. I know how much you liked mom's and I wanted you to have one of your own."
"I love it and it means so much to me Stone." She leans across the table and kisses me just as our food came.
We drank wine and eat our steak and then had dessert. They didn't have a cobbler so we had a nice piece of key lime pie.
On the way home, Chesney wanted to call mom to check on Sadie and it made her feel better to learn she was already asleep.
We made it home and as soon as I shut and locked the door I pressed her beautiful body against it kissing her lips.
