I was excited for today but I wanted to do something before we got together but I need Bonnie's help so while Meredith is still sleeping Bonnie slipped out and we headed to town.
I can trust Bonnie with anything and she knows about my feelings about love and how it's hard for me to express it so I came up with an idea.
I want to have a onesie made for Sadie that says mommy loves daddy and then I will tell him so Bonnie knew a place to go to have what I wanted to be made.
"I am so excited and honored you brought me along and that you want to tell Stone that you love him."
"I do and it's just the little things Bonnie they all add up and my heart is just bursting at the seams to tell him and I want to do it tonight."
"That is perfect dear."
"We picked a name but we want to tell you all at the same time." I grinned.
"Oh, I can't wait until you are ready to tell us all but can I get a letter at least?"
"No, you have to wait." I giggle.
We walk into the store and Bonnie walks over to a lady that she knows and motions me over and once I walk over we get everything how I want it on the onesie and she said it would be ready this evening.
"That works out perfectly thank you!" I smiled.
"Let's get back so we can get to our appointment but I have never had a mani-pedi before."
"Oh Bonnie it's so relaxing and I think I really need that."
"Yes, you do it's not easy growing a human that's for sure."
"So far it hasn't been bad but I am scared out of my mind about birth."
"You can do it I promise you." She smiled petting my hand.
When we made it back to the house as Whitney was just pulling in.
"Hey, you two you didn't go without us did you?"
"No we had an errand to run but we are ready to go," Bonnie said.
Meredith came out and we all got back in the car and headed back to town. We were all so happy and excited to be together and just have a girl's day.
When we got to the place we all took seats and we all cut the chairs on and put our feet in the water and it felt so good I thought I could fall asleep.
"So Chesney was telling me that they picked out a name."
"Oh my god, what is it?" Whitney asked.
"We want to tell everyone together so it's a secret for now." I smile.
"Well, when are you guys telling us?"
"I am not sure. Maybe we can have a get-together or something."
"Yeah, I need to know I want to get her names on things," Bonnie said.
"We are going to get her room started on today since Turner is in town."
"Oh what color?" Meredith asked.
"Yellow and I think I will decorate it in bunnies."
"That will be adorable." Meredith smiled.
"We ordered the furniture last night. I want everything white. I don't care for the brown color."
After our feet are done we got our nails done and then we went to the diner to eat lunch.
We laughed and joked and talked baby most of the time.
"This has been so fun!" Whitney said.
"I think have enjoyed myself today so much. I never really had a family or girlfriends and this has been a blast."
"You didn't just gain Stone. You gained two sisters and a mama." Bonnie smiled.
I wiped tears from my eyes. "Stupid hormones but I really appreciate it. I only ever had Clay after my dad passed."
"How old were you?" Meredith asked.
"My dad? I was fourteen when he died. He was on his way home from work and a drunk driver hit him and killed him instantly."
"That's so horrible. Clay told me neither of you was close to your mom." Whitney said.
"No, we weren't. We tried but she just did things that made it impossible." I shrugged.
We finished eating and I paid and they all tipped our waitress and we headed back to Bonnie's house.
"Since we are all together anyway why don't we have Clay and Stone come meet us so you can tell us the name?" Whitney said.
"That sounds great to me." I smiled as we pulled into the driveway.
"Oh well looks like Clay and Turner are here." Bonnie laughed.
"I texted Clay and when he found out why he said he was on his way." Whitney laughed.
We got out and I walked over to Stone confused. "What brings you here?"
"Turner wanted to see my dad it has been years and well we were letting the room dry before applying a second coat."
"Well, I am happy to see you. Clay has been called and he is on his way so we can tell them the name. These ladies have driven me nuts wanting to know." I laughed.
He pulled me in his arms and kissed my lips and his arms are right where I want to be.
It wasn't long until Clay pulled up and when he got out he has boxes of pizza in his arms.
"Wow, bro!"
"What? This is a celebration and I brought pizza."
"Only the best pizza round." I smiled.
Stone introduced him to Turner and it wasn't long until they were all laughing with Jorge.
"Us women have already eaten lunch so we just want the name." Bonnie laughed.
"Bon you are being pushy. The kids will tell us when they are ready."
"So the first initial is S." I smile.
"S? It better not be Stone Jr."
"It's a girl Turner!" Stone laughed.
"Stonette?" He laughed.
"Oh god no." Stone laughed.
"Her name will be Sadie Danielle Travers." I smiled.
"I love it!" Meredith said.
"Oh gosh, that's my middle name." Whitney wiped a tear.
"I know that's why it's her middle name." I smiled back at her.
