Siri was sitting in front of her study table at her dorm. She was thinking about the time when they went back home to Tam's house.

Immediately after they arrived, Tam wanted to go to Kam's house and visit him. When they got there, her boyfriend had sought out his childhood friend sitting right beside him when they found him in the terrace. Siri was confused, but she observed Tam's face. She saw an involuntary smile form in his face every time he looked at Kam. It was as if he couldn't help but smile while looking at him. His eyes followed his Nong everywhere. Like that moment when Kam stood up and tapped Tam's thigh and left the chair he was occupying. Her boyfriend's eyes followed him when he got to the table and when Kam turned to Tam, raised his eyebrows at him, Tam shook his head and merely smiled.

Siri frowned. She was wondering what the heck was happening. This had happened before countless times, but she never paid much attention to it. After all, Tam had always said that Kam was his nong.

She has seen Kam's mouth form a pout while looking at Tam, suddenly she heard her boyfriend break into a full guffaw. She frowned harder. What was she looking at again? Her boyfriend and his childhood friend were flirting with each other. Huh? Wait, what? She saw Tam rub the bridge of his nose, which he only does when he was feeling shy. She saw Kam just shrugged his shoulders and walk towards Dao where she saw him being introduced to P'Nee, Dao's boyfriend. She met him earlier when they went home last month.

Siri picked up her glass of juice and rolled her eyes, she turned to Sak who was seated beside her, and he raised his eyebrows repeatedly, 'Is there something wrong, Siri?' Sak asked innocently.

'No, nothing is wrong,' she replied. She fell into deep thought. She wanted to keep thinking positive thoughts and she wasn't sure why there was such a heavy feeling in her heart.

She returned home deeper in thought, also a bit confused at to what she was feeling. Once she was in bed, Siri once again tried to think about her boyfriend and his relationship with Kam. She needs to put her foot down, this cannot go on happening.

Flashback

Siri met Sak, Tam, Pop and Dao in the high school fair. She first saw them in a booth playing darts. Her eyes gravitated towards Tam the moment she saw him. She noticed however that, Tam and Dao were always whispering to each other. She thought that they were a thing. She was proven wrong when someone running had bumped into her. It was a boy maybe younger that she was, very tall and very white. If someone would have asked her to describe him, she could only think of one word, beautiful. Well, for a boy that is.

She was surprised however, because the moment that the boy had fallen over, the group she was looking at had turned to them and rushed over to help her she presumed. She was greatly pleased thinking that the boy she had a crush on was going to help her but to her surprise, she was not the one he approached first.

'Kammy, are you okay?' Tam was helping the boy who bumped her onto his feet turning him to check for bruises. It was actually Pop who helped Siri on her feet. Sak was the one who asked if she was okay.

'Siri looked expectantly at Tam, but his full attention was on the other boy who he had been helping.

'Kammy, Nong! Are you hurt?' Dao asked worriedly.

'I am okay, Phi! I am sorry for bumping into you.' He gave her a wai and smiled. Tam was still running his hands over Kam's arm. He brushed Tam's hands away and said, 'Hey, I am okay, don't worry. I was not that hurt.'

Siri took the opportunity and said, 'It is okay. I wasn't looking carefully anyway. By the way, my name is Siri.'

Dao looked at her and smiled, 'Oh, I am Dao.' She then proceeded to introduce Pop, Sak and Kam. 'And this worry-wart is Tam,' she pointed at Tam who was still fussing over Kam's pants and patting it clean. Tam looked briefly at her and waved a hand.
