Wind blows as we emerged from the plane. People rejoiced when their royals exited the plane. Black cars were perfectly lined up for our use, Jace was there along with my maid Anne and my butler Brendan. I followed Amielle and took his out stretched hand.
"In Here, Your Highness" Jace opened the door for us.
"Thank You, Jace" I said, getting in, followed by Amielle.
The cars started and I stared at the people cheering and waving their hands, as if, we could wave back. The cars were tinted and identical, no one knows where are we.
We, royals, occupied two of the cars and occasionally changing positions. Cal called it 'Confusion' for anyone who want us dead.
"Are they all Silvers?" I heard myself asked.
"Yes, but not that special like us and members of the High Houses" Maven answered, looking at them.
"Silver Commoners" Mathew looked at them like he looked at our people.
Watching them wave and cheer sadden me. If I marry Cal, I won't able to see my countrymen wave and cheer. I won't be able to get out and mess around with people.
No mom, dad, Mathew, and Amielle. All I ever get was Cal, lots and lots of paperworks, history classes. No one like me. I'll be a lone Red Girl in a sea of Silver People. Even I love Cal, my love to my family will always be greater than him.
Ever since I was small, people looked up to me, telling me that I will be queen of another country or I will be married off to a prince. And I always tell myself that I don't want to go without my family.
"......The West Archeon is where the palace is and the families of the High Houses are also there... For short, the whole governing body of Norta is placed in the West Archeon" Maven says. I wasn't paying attention that's all the information I gathered.
"What are you thinking, Del?" Amielle asked, everyone looked at me.
"Not that important" I smile.
"Just spit it out" Amielle winked.
"Where are the Reds?" I lied.
"The Reds are at other part of Norta, miles away from the capital.... Sometimes, we go to Summerton for vacation or queenstrail, which is nearer to the Red community" Cal answered quickly.
We just nodded. Mathew's phone rang and he quickly answered it.
"Hello, mom... yes... I will tell them... thank you... bye"
"Short conversation with mom, eh?!" Amielle mocked.
"Yeah... Yeah!!! Anyways, mom says that there will be a banquet when we arrived, and well... her reminder" Mathew rolled his eyes.
"Give your best smile, every royal knows that!" It's my time to roll my eyes.
"Well here it's different... We should look stern not charming, that's the difference between our country and yours" Maven spat.
"Delancy and I are in mood for some stern looking royals" Amielle smirked.
"How about ill mannered royals!" I clapped my hands, my eyes sparkling in mischief.
"Don't. You. Dare!" Mathew says sternly.
"Get a life, dear" I crossed my legs.
He scoffed as a reply.
"I'll take that as a yes" Amielle snapped his fingers. My phone vibrated on my hands, then slipped through my fingers.
"Crap!" I bent down to get it. Unfortunately, Amielle stretched his limbs, smashing my phone.
"SHIT!" I yelled.
Amielle looked down and saw his foot on my crushed phone. He turned pale and opened his mouth but no words came out. My fury was replace by smirked.
"I-I...uh... I'm sorry, I'm truly sorry, sis... I'm sorry" He stuttered out.
I faked my face and returned my fury. I pulled out my book and throw it at him. Then I laughed.
"What was that for?!" He shrieked.
"For crushing my bloody phone" I snapped.
"You don't even like it" Amielle teased.
We both laughed at the same time the cars stopped.
"We're here" Cal announced with a pinch of happiness in his voice.
I decided to leave the crushed phone and hunt for my favorite phone in my bag. My phone rang and it was Wendy. I know I need to take it.
"You have to go, It's Wendy.. I must get this" I urged.
"You have to, She needs you... No one will notice you're not around" Mathew agreed.
"Family first, sis" Amielle whispered and went out.
"What's news?" I asked calmly.
"Del... 3 weeks.... He will die after three weeks... I can't... I can't handle this... Help me" Wendy cried.
Desperate. Sad. Broken.
My poor energetic little sister.
"I will... I will help you, I'll tell mom and dad about this, don't worry we will be there, I promise... Just try to keep it together for a while and I'll do something to get there" I vowed.
"Sure... You better go and tell them... I'll call you later" She gulped and ended the call.
I pushed the car door open and ran towards the banquet room. Mom and Dad were seated together, faking smiles. I desperately need to talk to them. I know I can't do it here, so I retreated to my seat. Blankly.
"What happened?" Amielle asked when we got to the covered garden.
"Three weeks and that's it" I mumbled.
"We have to tell our parents" Mathew stood up ready to go.
"That's not necessary.... Tell us, dearie" Mom says, bracing herself for the worst part.
"Andrew, has only three weeks left... Wendy needs us" Mathew says, puppy eyes forming.
"Please... We need to be there" I pleaded.
Dad sighed and closed his eyes.
"Mathew and the twins will head to Netherlands tomorrow, 8 am sharp... As for us, we are staying for 2 days and go to Netherlands. Is that fine, love?" He asked mom.
"Better than fine, Nath... We really need to there as soon as possible" Mom fidgeted.
................
8 am...
"We'll be back, don't worry about it" Mathew assured Cal.
"We're going to see you soon" I have him a kiss on the cheeks and entered the plane bound to Netherlands.
