Chapter 76 - Little Games

Delancy's POV

The moment I opened my eyes, I was greeted by my three lovely maids with a big grin on their faces.

"Good morning, Princess Delancy!" They greeted in unison.

"Good morning, girls! You seem to be in such enthusiasm today!" I greeted back.

Their smiles got bigger. Their cheerful demure influenced me to be cheerful as well. I let them work their magic on me because they insisted on doing it.

They dressed me in a beautiful yet fiery red dress and fixed my hair into a gorgeous hairstyle. They even put some glittering pins on my hair.

When I asked why they dressed me like this, they told me they were asked to do so. I even asked where the hell was Cal but they said that he left early in the morning.

"We are asked to give you this, Your Highness" Thalia handed me a scented envelope with my name on it.

The last time I got a letter was Maxon saying good bye. I hope this letter will be cheerful as this day. An impressively good hand writing filled my eyes.

Good Morning, Your Royal Highness!

How's your food? I hope you're doing fine now. As you know, I'm not there to greet you 'good morning' today. I'm very busy fixing things on time for you. I won't make this long so you can enjoy your meal.

Finish it, our dear princess so you will have the energy to whatever game we're playing.

After you eat, kindly proceed to the rose garden of your mom for the next clue.

I smiled once I finished the letter. Quickly, I finished my food to dash towards the Rose Garden, it's a good thing everybody's inside the Dining Hall right now so I could ran towards mom's rose garden.

A butler was their to meet me, he handed me a rose scented envelope and a white rose bouquet.

Anyway, I know how excited you are to end this little game of ours. So how about go out to the driveway to meet the third letter.

Grinning widely, I made my way towards the palace driveway while smelling at the sweet roses Cal sent me. The moment I reached the driveway, a white limousine stopped in front of me.

My trustee guard, Jace Cohen, emerge from the car to open the car door for me.

"Thank you, Jace!" I said.

"You're welcome, Your Highness" He says.

Inside the car, there's a square velvet box sitting on the car seat with a purple envelope on top. Gingerly, I reached for the next letter, hopefully be the last.

For now, I want you to relax inside and have some food and drinks if you want. There's also a television inside if you want to watch something. But first, open the box and put it on.

I opened the box just like he said. The box revealed a gorgeous jewelry set made with precious gems and diamonds.

Aquamarine gems were the main pendant of the extravagant necklace with small diamonds around them. The earrings were gold and the design are just like the necklace. It also has a matching ring and bracelet.
