"Cal, I will never forget the time you and I first met. It was the most embarrassing day I had in front of a crowned prince, I clearly remembered that I cried that very day because I learned that I'm, in your words, a 'Hybrid Merandus'," Cal chukled, everyone in the room if I may add.

"The time when we both shared a kiss at the poolside because you were very proud of me for using my abilities. Nor the time when we both lost the people we first pledged our wedding vows to. Yet, those things made us even closer, stronger and more in love with each other. Cal, I vow to you that I will do my very best to be the Queen that you ought to have, the wife that will soothe your aching head, the mother of our kids. I will always be there with you in sickness and in health, in richer or for poorer, till death do us part. I love you so much Tiberias Calore the Seventh. This is my vow to you" I ended, the words came naturally and our eyes remained to ourselves, not caring about the world.

Then it was his turn.

"My dearest Delancy, I vow to you my life, my heart, my love. I vow to you everything I have. I'm grateful for the fact that you never gave up on us, for letting me take care of you when your heart was shattered, for giving light in my darkest nights. Delancy, in those seconds I knelt in front of America to save her from unfortunate life and your favor, I was imagining you instead of her. And those times she became my fiancee, you never left my heart. Now, that we are here in front of the altar, about to be pronounced as husband and wife, I'm ecstatic. I can't find the words how happy I am to marry you. I promise to you Delancy that I will be the husband that you need, the father that will guide our kids and your ever protector.  I love you, my darling. Always and forever" He vowed.

Then the time seems to run even faster, by the time the Archbishop's mouth opened, it was the end of the wedding.

"By the power vested to me by God, I now pronounced you, husband and wife," He looked at Cal, whose been waiting for the words. "You may now kiss the bride"

Slowly, Cal reached for my veil to uncover my face. He cupped my cheek and his other free hand was on the small of my back, pulling me closer to him. Cal closed the gap between us, sealing kissing me in front of thousands of people as his wife. My stomach was filled with butterflies evolving into wild dinosaurs, my heart pounding so hard, I'm afraid it might get too tired to beat and give up.

"I love you so much" He said, hen we puled away, we were  grinning wide.

"I love you to the moon and back" I hugged him tightly.

Our families congratulate us before letting  us out. We gracefully walked towards the exit door and meet the crowd with smile and wave.

"How do you feel now?" Cal asked me when we got to the car.

"Like dreaming. I'm afraid that once I woke up, I'll have to face the fact that you were never mine" Cal pinched me. "OW! What was that for?"

"To prove you that you're not dreaming" He kissed me openly, we were getting busy doing it when the car stopped, signaling that we are at the Whitefire palace for the reception.

"Let us all welcome, His Majesty King Tiberias Calore the Seventh of House Calore and Jacos, Flame of the North. And his wife, Her Majesty Queen Delancy Seraphina Calore of House Calore and the Kingdom of Gardenia" The patriarch announced. "Please clear the dance floor for their first dance"

Cal and I walked towards the dance floor then started to dance. We waltz on the dance floor, we were oblivious to the people around us. I danced with my husband till our hearts content. Until we call it a night.

Cal and I chased each other in the hallways, when he caught me, he carried me to who knows room, bridal style.

"This is what I've been waiting for" Cal hissed at my ear.

"Can't control your inferno, My King?" I teased.

"Can't control it around you, My queen" He answered before kissing me.

"Wait Cal!" I said.

He looked at me with a questioned look.

"Please help me out of my crown. It's been tangled to my hair because of our running" I gave him my cheeky smile.

"You're unbelievable!" He complained, however, he's the one who fixed my hair.

"Ow! Be gentle! please!"

"I'm trying!"

"Are you mad at me, Cal?"

"Frustrated"

"I'll make it up to you," I reached up to give him a peck on his lips. "I promise"

After  he helped me get out of my crown, Cal was happy to get what we both wanted. The night was quiet and solemn for both of us. The night was ours, no one to interrupt whatever we were doing tonight. His actions were slow yet burning, he marked everything that he touches, he kisses me with such tender and love. My husband knows how to drive me, to search every piece of me, shattering whatever's left of my sanity, he knows where and how to kiss me.

I felt flying...

I never thought how this night made me wonderful, full of energy weaving around us, full of love and romance. Cal was the epitome of the man I ever dreamed about, the prince charming I was dreaming about when I was just a little girl, the man that I saw me in my ugliest days, he was everything.

I know I made the right choice. I marry the right man.

Cal's POV

Delancy was everything I've longed for. My father once told me how much my mother meant to him, how she calmed him whenever he's hot headed, how she brought the smile to his face and how strong my mother was when she brought me into this world.

She the world my father; He was hers.

My wife was the most beautiful girl I've seen. Even with her flaws, I love her.

Delancy was panting, both of us were, I got afraid that she will got her attacks again.

"You alright? Do you need your breather? Fresh air? Water?" I panicked.

Delancy smiled at me, her hands cupped my face and reached up to plant a feathery kiss on my lips.

"No need to panic, Cal. I'm fine" She said in a hushed tone. "And tired" She winked at me.

I let out a chuckle before laying down beside her, she rest her head on my bare chest and began to draw patterns on it. Soon enough, her breathing steadied.

Delancy was already sleeping.

"Good night, my wife" I, too, was engulfed by the wonders of sleep.
