I lay beside Maxon, whose reading a book, quickly put it on his side table, trapping me inside his strong arms. I giggled.

"You smell lovely" He sniffed on my neck, his nose tickles my skin making me giggle.

"Why thank you!" I chuckled.

"I bet you will always smell like this every night" His hot breath on my neck, now making me squirm under his arms.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it. I want it" He answered.

I giggled, turning my body so that I'm facing him.

"Stop thinking of anything there. We need to sleep, it's already late" I cupped his face. "Good Night!"

I kissed his tender lips and turn away from him, draping the duvet over me.
..........................

"I refuse to wear that stupid thing!" I backed away.

"Yes you will!!" Wendy's eyebrows wiggle.

"Oh God No!" I shook my head. "AHHHHH!!!"

I ran, bumping into Cal's hard body, I fell on my bum.

"Watch it" America hissed.

"Sorry. but- WENDY!!" I shrieked.

"Aha!!! I got your laptop!!"

"Not my lappy!!!" I whined, reaching for my gadget.

"You have to wear this first!"

"NEVER!!!"

I snatched the laptop from her only to send it flying, smashing it on the wall.

"Wow!" I choked out.

"I know" Wendy agreed.

Then we fell on the floor, laughing, so hard, tears escaped from our eyes. Amielle gave us confused look, Mathew's face red in fury. I stopped.

"Hey, brother" I hid my fear under a smile and Jolly voice.

Bad idea

"Idiots! You threw my laptop!" It only worsen his looks. Silence. "Not that I mind"

Wendy and I squealed, pinning our brother down and hugging him like crazy. Amielle joined the fun, tickling Wendy until she gasps for air, as for Mathew and I, well, we tickled each other not hard as Amielle and Wendy.

I pushed Mathew away from me, running and splashing into the swimming pool. My siblings joined in, splashing water everywhere. We're having a great time, not thinking of things we have to deal with.

"Need to take this off" Wendy took off her shirt, and the boys too. "Del?"

"No swimming suit underneath" I smiled Shyly.

Our play stopped when it rained. Entering the house, dripping wet, giggling and running to our rooms to change. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and black hoody, I let my hair down and sprayed a little perfume to complete it.

Suddenly, the electricity shut down, America screamed, Cal snapped her fingers and fire lit the dark room. There, I saw America clung onto Cal's arm, seeking warmth in this cold weather.

Our phones lit, giving it light, Maxon and I searched for candles in the garage. Something fell, thudding the concrete floor loudly. I screamed in terror, freezing on the spot, clutching my phone against my chest.

I began to let out shaky and deep breaths, sweat covered my forehead, my limbs shaking. A silhouette charged towards me, getting bigger and bigger. I tried to scream but no sound came out, I think I will pass out.

"It's me. No need to panic, it's just me" A familiar voice soothes my tension.

"Maxon. You-scared. me"

"Sorry. It was the wind that knock the wire. Your screams startled me" Maxon wrapped me in his arms. "I got the candles"

"Let's get inside, I don't want to get scared anymore" I smiled. "Guys! We got the candles"

"What took you so long?" Cal asked.

"Got scared by the wind" I answered, sitting beside Maxon.

"That explains the screams" Maven added.

Maxon nodded.

"It's so cold in here" America muttered.

"I'll lit the fireplace for us" Cal says, standing up but America pulled him down. "What?"

"Don't leave me. I'm scared, it's so cold without you" America pleaded.

Cal's body is a walking fireplace. The fire in his veins igniting in his flesh, thus, giving it warmth. I know what it feels like to be able to hug him. It feels good.

"Then who will the fireplace?"

"Brother, stay with America. I will the lit the fireplace. Wendy won't get scared if I leave her for a while" Maven kissed Wendy. Even in the dimness of the room, I can still see them kissing.

"Yeah right! Light it now before attacking her face with kisses" Amielle scoff.

Maven reluctantly stood while Wendy shot him with death glare. Soon, the room filled with warmth. America sighed in relief, Cal whispered something to her that made her giggle.
I lay down with my head on Maxon's lap.

"What do you suggest we can do in darkness, Max?" I asked, staring at his beautiful Chocolate eyes, playing with his left fingers.

"I don't know... what's on your mind, Del?"

"Neither do I" I chuckled.

Maxon leaned down and kissed me, I felt the warmness of his lips on mine, the tentativeness of his touch and the butterflies swarming my stomach.

"I know. How about we talk about the topics most couples would do if they are getting married" Maxon winked.

"Wedding plans? I can't imagine you being excited about it"

"I won't get excited if it's not you I'm getting tied to" He winked again.

I giggled.

"I can't scan for nice dresses, there's no internet and my phone is going to die" I laughed at him.

"Tell me your ideal dress then" Maxon challenged.

"Of course it's white. I want it to catch people's eyes. A bit majestic but still simple. Strapless would do. And not to mention some glittering thingy on it to give it a shiny look in the pictures. I want my dress to express my personality" I answered slowly, sketching my imaginary dress in my head, wondering if it suits me or not.

"You my dear will have the grandest wedding gown people would see. Anything for you. I don't care is you walk on the aisle in your undergarments or naked" Maxon ruffled my hair. I laughed at him.

"I don't care about it either... So, what do you want in our day, Max?" It's my turn to ask.

"You really wanna know?"

"Of course!!" I sat up.
