Delancy's POV
"Great cooking!" Amielle complements.
"Thanks! I've been studying culinary back home" Wendy answered. "Delancy and America, how about we bake some pastries tomorrow?"
"Sounds Awesome!!" I cheered.
"I love sweets!" America sighed.
"More than me?" Cal asked, turning his head towards Ames.
"More than anyone or anything else" She flipped her hair, Cal pouted and We erupted in laughter. My phone lit up.
"Excuse me" I excused myself, answering the phone.
"Hello, Delancy speaking"
"Good Evening, Your Highness" Raven says.
"Raven. What is it?"
"The King is asking if you're willing to attend the Dinner Meeting with the Royal family of United Kingdom?"
"I have to check with my siblings first. If they agree, so I am. Anything else?"
"Also, your mother was asking me your current location"
"Beach House. I don't exactly know our location but we are in a beach house" I informed her. "Any news about the budget cuts or something needed there?"
"The current budget report you proposed is now approved and currently running at the southern parts of the land. Then there's also progress about the war in Norta and Illéa, our troops are being withdrawn from those countries. And so far, no problems here"
"How about death? Did someone died?" I asked, we are taking care of our armed forces for we also deploy them to other allied lands and forces.
"No reports of death, Your Highness but some of them are injured during the encounter"
"Give them everything they need. Make sure they are safe. And thank you for calling me. I'll inform my siblings and we will talk about this tonight, hopefully I can get their answers by tomorrow. Good Night, Raven"
"Good Night, My Princess"
Raven Foster, one of our advisers, and also stand as my secretary. She's always there when we need her. She doesn't have plans to get married but has plans on adopting a child to call her own. I retreated to the dining area, they are still eating desserts.
"Amielle, Wendy, and Mathew, I need to talk to you after dinner" I said.
"What is about, sis? If it's not that classified, we can talk about here" Mathew gestured to all of us.
"It's not that important. I don't even know where to start" I sighed.
"Who was that?" Wendy asked, her chin on her palms. "is it a boy?"
"Who's the guy you managed to bat your lashes at? Someone we know or need to know?" America mocked.
"Guys please! I'm engaged and so are you," I held my hand in surrender, then pointing at their rings. "Here's the thing. Dad is asking us if we want to attend the dinner meeting with Kieran's family, the day after tomorrow. So what now?"
"Don't change the subject! Who called you?" Wendy asked, interested to know.
"Raven! Happy?!" I answered.
"Maven? Why would Maven call you?" Wendy asked.
"Seriously?! It's Raven, with an R. Not Maven!" I snapped.
"My mistake. I'll say Dinner Meetings are boring, I don't want to go. How about you brothers?" Wendy said sarcastically.
"I have to second that!" Amielle answered with his mouth full.
"I don't think ditching it is the best idea. We need to go, it's our duty" once again Prince Mathew strikes.
"Duty. Really? Dad is asking if we WANT not asking to get home and be there" I pointed out.
"How about you go on your own, We'll stay here" Amielle says.
"I second that!" Wendy and I both said.
"I won't go. Duh! You get to relax while I'm burning my eyebrows and rotting my brains because of stress" Mathew rolled his eyes.
"That's what you get when you're the heir" Maven added.
Cal and Maxon nodded, knowing how hard it is to fill your father's shoes. Like how I fill myself in my Dad's shoes, learning and doing the things only the heir does. I excused myself to bed, cuddling the pillows and thinking about today's events.
My eyes felt heavy as I typed all the details and words spoken today, I'm writing my own story, real story since I got engaged. I stopped writing stories about my imagination, about my not-so perfect and normal life as a normal 18 year old girl. As I type the words flowing inside my head, everything gets clearer and lighter for me to deal with. My fingers hits the keyboard as the last sentence is being written then I shut down.

Morning....
My eyes fluttered open as the sunlight hits my eyes, adjusting to the light. Beside me, Maxon is sleeping, laying on his stomach, few hair locks on his forehead and his mouth was partly open. Slowly, I made my way to the balcony, sniffing the fresh sea breeze, watching the waves hits the shoreline.
The sun is up and there's no one around. The house is also empty, they're still sleeping so I made myself a tea and retreated to my room, where I read my book in the balcony feeling the morning's warmness. My book was halfway when Maxon woke up, rubbing his eyes, he walked towards me, kissing my cheek good morning.
"How's your sleep?" I asked, not looking away from the book.
"Fine. You don't move much, makes it easier to fall asleep" He answered, not caring to tie his robe.
"I have king sized bed but I don't really use all the spaces ,plus, I don't move much if the temperature is just fine but if its hot, expect me to push you out of the bed" I smiled, turning the page.
"The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight?" He reads.
"Problem?"
"No not really, but, that's ridiculous! Love at first sight? I don't believe that!" He said, that time, I looked up to see him staring at my book.
"Its not ridiculous. Love is just simply as this 'Love is the strangest, most illogical thing in the world'" I quoted, reading one of my favorite quotes from the makes sense.
"Not gonna argue with that!" He says
