"Is this really what you want for this day?," Once again he rolled his eyes. "Then fine, Deal with it!" I bursts out, storming out the café.

Running for my freedom is the only way to calm my mind. My ears plugged with earphones, music blasting my cochlea. I looked behind me, no Maxon running. I breathed out, my eyes sparkle at the sight of a bookstore.

Striding through the crowd, I easily got inside the building. There's a basket to fill with everything you need, so I began to shop. 5 books from my TBR list was crossed out, some art stuffs file the rest.

Luckily, they have a reading lounge for people like me. I entered the room, sulking myself into the Literary World. With my phone on silent and a soft music in my ears, no one will ever touch me in my own little world.

"Is there a Delancy here?" I heard someone ask.

Maxon

Few heads shook while others didn't bother to respond. He went out, then tried calling me. For the 4th time, I answered.

"Where are you?" He asked breathlessly.

"I'll meet you somewhere"

"The bakery then?"

"Yeah, I see you there" I ended the call.

I gathered my bags and hurried to the bakery. No Maxon, not even his silhouette.

"Jerk" I muttered under my breath.

I almost got out when the cute guy from the bakery stopped me.

"He left you this" He handed me a small blue paper.

Go to the sidewalk and you will see a green car. Enter it and you will find another paper

~M

I followed his instructions, a lone green car has a blue paper attached to its windshield.

Another one huh?!

Use the green car and drive to the nearest park. Another paper will get to you.

~M

A pathway lit up, guiding me to the next clue. This time it's color pink.

Follow the pathway and wait at the last lights, you will find the last piece.

~M

I followed the pathway, leading me at the empty docks. A little girl gave me a pink and purple colored notes.

"Thank you, sweetheart!"

"You're welcome!" She beamed and ran away.

The pink one says 'Now you reached the docks and it's time to read the next one'

The next one says:

"Purple. The color of Royalty, your birthright, and most importantly, your favorite color. Now look behind you if you think I can be your favorite guy."

I turn my back, facing Maxon with a bouquet of flowers with him, beaming down at me.

"You like it?" Gesturing behind me.

Illuminated by lights, a yacht was revealed.

"What's this all about?" I asked.

"The reason why I was pissing you off today," My opened in shock. "It's because of this"

"You don't have to!"

I hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. He leaned in, our lips met and my knees are about to shatter. I just wanted to melt.

"I want to. There are several things I want to do with you and I want to savor this time for us to have dates outside the palace" Maxon shrugged.

I nodded. We walked to the deck hand in hand. Two chairs at the middle, candles on the table and a fancy set up on it, petals all over the floor, soft music to make a romantic ambiance. And a transparent roof on us for sudden rain.

"This is amazing!,"My voice filled with awe. "How did? What?.... How come?"
I was speechless. And it made Maxon chuckle.

"Made the reservation 2 days ago," Maxon rested his hand on my lower back. "Look there!"

Different colors erupted the dark sky, giving it light for seconds. Something shifted beneath our feet, I lost my balance. Luckily, Maxon caught me before I land on my bum.

"Almost landed on my bum" I laughed.

The dinner was served, and the yacht continued to sail away. Every time I look at Maxon, my eyes caught his.
We both clink our glasses, He watched me swallowing the sweetness/bitterness of the wine. I gulped it down in seconds and regretting it afterwards. Maxon chuckled at me.

"As far as I know, you're not used to alcoholic beverages" Maxon said sweetly.

"I never dared drinking one. But this time will do!" I grinned.

"There's always at first time for everything," He said. "I have something for you"

"I don't need stuffs or books," I rolled my eyes. "I bought books a while ago"

"It's not a book," Maxon shook his head. "Here you go"

In a velvet box sits a stunning gold necklace, name pendant, my name is written in an elegant cursive. My mouth gaped open, cannot believe my eyes.

I may have boxes of jewels in every gems and sizes. But never in a million years I was given a necklace simple and utterly me. Suitors, Ambassadors and other political or Royal personals doesn't present jewels to me, they present it to Wendy, since she always attends them.

"Why?"

"Your neck. Most of the time it's empty, you don't wear other accessories except for your engagement ring and earrings everyday. So I thought a necklace will do and also this time it doesn't meant for others, its only for you,"He explained. "May I?"

I nodded, still stunned. Cool metal band surrounded my neck, then he leave a kiss on my burning skin. Suddenly, his phone rang.

"Excuse me," He turned away. "Yes?.."

I fiddled with the necklace, admiring its simplicity and specialty. My mind wanders off without me knowing.

"Delancy, we already docked" Maxon kissed my cheek.

"Oh! Let's go home"

"Of course"

We descended the yacht, the car was waiting for us. Maxon shook hands with the crew, I just smiled at them in return.

"You're not that friendly" Maxon commented.

"Who says I'm not friendly," I frowned. "For your information, The guy in the bakery is my new friend"

"You flirted with the guy, not befriended him"

"Are we really having this conversation?"

He shook his head and started driving.
