DELANCY'S POV
"Don't fuss! You'll ruin your make-up!" Wendy slapped my hand away from my face.
So I stood up and walked around my room, despite of my heavy gown.
"Delancy! Calm down! He's going to show up," Mare said. "And you're making me dizzy"
Mareena Mortensen, my sister in law is now pregnant with her first baby with my beloved brother.
"I think I'll faint here!" I whined. "I can't breathe with this heavy train attached to me!" I complained.
The girls just gave me sympathetic smiles and tried to turn up the mood. They weren't successful but Galatea was.
My stunning niece burst into the room, behind her was the smile that we want. More of her brother to be honest.
"Mommy!!" Galatea screamed.
"Darling, what's wrong?" Wendy crouched down for her.
"Nathan ruined my hair!" She cried.
I looked at my cute nephew and saw a mischievous smirk on his face. For a one year old kid, they're the cutest toddlers I saw. Smartest too! They could speak at the age of four months and now, their voices filled the halls of the Gardenian Palace.
Wendy fixed her daughter's hair whilst Mare tried to ease my nerves.
"Don't worry Auntie, Uncle Cal's making the room hot. Just like you!" Jonathan teased.
"Nathan! Where are your manners?" Wendy scolded her son.
"I'm sure he will be fine, Jonathan" I told the kid. "And you really have to apologize to your sister. You have to love her, Nathan. Not hurt her" I told the kid in a calm and soothing way, I've been practicing with these kids anyway, so I have a small background about motherhood.
Says who?!
We did some last minute touch ups, the maids straighten the skirts of my dress for some pictures and lastly, attached my golden bridal crown with lots and lots of gems, sparkling every time I move.
The gown was heavy, lace with embroidery and glittery cloth. It was beautiful, an off-shoulder dress. Simple and Classic design yet Elegant and Grandiose. It was my perfect dress, it was sewed manually by my three gorgeous maids and other best seamstresses of both Gardenia and Norta. It took them months before the gown was finished, they want my gown to represent the handiwork of both Reds and Silvers, albeit they don't have to do it.
Mom was happy to see me get married to the man that makes me truly happy. Elara took her two naughty grandkids with her, Amielle helped Mare with her huge belly to descend the staircase. Lastly, Mom and Wendy helped me descend the staircase comfortably, Dad was already waiting below with the others and my soon father in law.
"Delancy will knock them dead!" Amielle grinned widely, I giggled for the enthusiasm of my twin brother.
"Once a girl now a wife" Dad said, he hugged me tightly.
I was getting teary eyed, luckily a sentinel informed us that our vehicles were ready for us.
They helped me into one of the identical black limousines, no one attached flowers to my car to confuse the people who wanted me dead.
"You'll be fine. I promise!" Wendy said.
I gave her a smile, to ease my running head, I focused on the people on the streets watching us pass by. The stretch of people covered the whole route until the cathedral, then gathered in front of the cathedral wherein gigantic projector screens were installed for them to watch the whole ceremony.
Our wedding was different than the others. A Red princess to a Silver king.
When we arrived at the cathedral, they helped me out of the car and fixed my gown and train and also the veil. I waved at the crowd, sending them to their loudest screams.
I felt confidently pretty, my face doesn't have the pounds of make-up people uses to their wedding day, Wendy applied make-up on my face just to polish it, simple foundation, eye shadow, blush on, mascara, and lips gloss. That was it. They fixed my hair into a cool hairdo.
By two's, I was left behind until it was just me and my dad. My father was proud as ever, he held my arm and we glided to the aisle full of pride, joy and grace. I nod at the crowd who were there to witness me and Cal exchange vows."Dad, am I still your genius doubter?" I asked, hiding my laughter and tears.
"No matter what happens, you're still my genius, wonderful, stiff, general, chemist, my princess and my one and only doubter" He answered me, we giggled and it made our smile much bigger.
"I'm so proud of what you become, Delancy. I will always love you, no matter what"
"I'm so grateful you're my daddy, I love you too, papa" I said, calling him like some british daughters does.
"Here we are"
I looked at my sharp right and saw my ever gallant, handsome King, standing beside Maven. His medals and shoes were perfectly polished, his military uniform was amazingly pressed, hair styled in place, and his crown was affixed to his head. Apart from his perfect features, was his unwavering grin and glowing eyes.
When our eyes locked together, it seems that it's just the two of us. No cameras flashing, eyes watching, no one but me and Cal.
I felt Dad's grip loosen up, then he slowly gave me away. I kiss his cheek and hug him tightly, saying goodbye to the things I did alone and welcoming the moments I will have with Cal.
"You look ravishing, Your Highness" Cal winked at me, he was the one holding my arm now.
"Likewise, Your Majesty" I replied.
We shared a giggle that only made our grins become even wider.
------------------
The ceremony passed too quickly, before I knew it, I was about to say my vows to Cal, which I've been preparing last night. I heaved a breath before starting the vows I will not break.
