I came to view, Maxon jolt up from his seat. Amielle and Mathew gasped as they saw me.

"Sis your hair!" Amielle pointed out.

"It's black! Holy Sh- what the?!" Mathew says.

I giggled at their faces. It's priceless, I looked at Maxon, his mouth wide open. I made my way to him, his fingers ran to my once golden hair.

"Your hair was gorgeous!" He emphasizing  the passed tense.

"Isn't it great?" I laughed.

"You look breath taking" He breathed out. "The dress also suits you"

I showed them the new outfit I got.

"We bought some ingredients for the cake" Wendy sang.

"We're baking now?!" America asked gleefully.

Wendy chuckled and nodded, America squealed and ran inside the kitchen. Wendy followed her and I followed them.

We followed her instructions, America keeps on tasting it. Telling us if it's too sweet our not too sweet.

"More sugar!" She shrieked. Wendy poured some, while I sliced the fresh strawberries to top the cake.

"Now America. Pre-heat the oven" Wendy says, stirring the frosting we will put.

"Done!"

We laughed at her enthusiasm, we waited for the cake to bake. I washed the dishes while Wendy wipe the kitchen counter that's covered with flour. America sat there watching the base to cook. I heard chortles and camera button clicking.

"Sneakers!" Wendy yelled. The boys erupted into a loud laugh. I dried my wet hands and looked at the boys.

"Sneaky kids!" I laughed at them, closing the kitchen door and nudged America's side. "Stop staring it will melt"

"I can't help it!" The oven sang, America pulled the handle eagerly, only to meet hot air on her face. Wendy and I laughed at her red face.

"Tomato!!" We teased.

"Whatever! Next step!!"

"Take it off gently. Put it there so it will cool off" Wendy instructed, taking the icing's cover.

We finished decorating the cake, putting it inside the fridge, preparing it for tonight's dinner. The girls snuggled with their boyfriends, I sighed, entering my door.

"What have I done!" I yelled inside my room.

"What's wrong with you, dear?" Maxon asked.

I turned pale, he's here. I ran up to him, embracing him tightly. I feel safe under his arms, the scent of his aftershave calms me, his finger constant running on my head steadies everything.

I pressed my lips on his, feeling warmth inside and out. My lips tingle as I pull away, his expression remains calm. Slowly, he pulled me to another kiss which I gave. Its longer, the softness of his lips and the tentativeness I'm feeling. I am not going to get used to this everyday. Now I'm ready, ready to express my longtime feelings for him. Our noses touched and we stared at each other.

"I love you" I whispered.

He was taken aback, embarrassment swirled around me. I walked away, I can hear my heart pounding and screams inside my head, reminding me how foolish I am to fall so quickly.

"Wait!" I didn't wait, instead I took long strides.

"Stop! Del please stop" Maxon caught up, forcing me to face him. I put my head down and he lifted my chin up.

"I'm sorry for my expression, I'l was shocked to know, you caught me off guard. You always does" He whispered the last words.

"And I'm so foolish to fall you that easily. I shouldn't told you that" I answered.

"You're not a fool. Don't ever say that again, I'm stupid for not telling you either"

"W-what are you talking about?"

"I love you too. I love you so much that I don't know how to let you go if the contract breaks. So foolish for not appreciating every single sacrifice you did for me, I owe you so much" He looked directly at me, his eyes speaks everything, even his thoughts agrees to it.

"You don't owe me anything. To be honest, I had a big crush on you since we were kids, then disappeared when I got Andrew next Cal. It came back to this day, wherein I know it's much more than that" I confessed, my hands on his chest tracing invisible patterns.

"You've been a great friend to me. All these years, you always stood up for me, sometimes telling Father that my mistake is your fault. You calm him down, in order for me not to get scolded. Even if that means your parents will get angry at you" Maxon's eyes glistening.

Could I just melt here?

"That's what friends are for" I winked, Maxon chuckled.

"Still. it doesn't count that I love your blonde hair than black. This color makes you more frightening" He ruffled my hair.

"Hey! No ruffling," I swat his hands away. "To look powerful is to be powerful"

"Where did you get that?"

"Lines from the book. you'll never know until you read"

"Is that from the book?"

"No! It's mine" I laughed.

There were stones thrown at our balcony. I went cold, knowing it's the crazy bastard from the other night.

"GET OUT HERE!"

"Stay here" Maxon says, squeezing my hand as he walked out.

"You're destroying a private property here" Maxon called out.

"YOU!!"

I breathed in and out, plastering a smile at my face. Since Maxon is in a robe and his chest is exposed, I decided to strip off my clothing, grab a cycling and one of his buttoned shirt, my hair is a bit mess and so is his. This will be great!

"Who's that, babe?" I asked sweetly, wrapping my arms around his muscular frame.

"No one. Just a guy who wants to destroy people's villas," He answered, then faced me. "You seriously know how to make a guy jealous?"

"I try" I shrugged.

"You know it would be nice if this thing is off" Our noses brushed against each other.

"Whatever you say, pigweed" I made a flirty laugh.

Maxon kissed me playfully, grinning wide. I giggled between each kisses.

"Oh. Hi there, mister!" I waved hello.

"Uh.... I'm sorry to interrupt. I need to run" He stuttered out.

I laughed hard, I whip my head back and mocked. Cal knocked for us to get ourselves out of the room and eat.

"Wait a second!" Maxon called out.

"Okay! I'll be waiting" Cal yelled.  "And guys, please be quick, America will eat the cake if you don't come out"

We laughed, I grabbed my bath robe, fixed my hair and got out.
