Chapter 16

Arlo

"Arlo, it's time to wake up." I heard Westin's dad say, softly.

I couldn't help groan as he opened the curtains. It was too bright. It felt like I was staring right into the sun. Covering my eyes I slowly got up. Only to find Jeremy smiling warmly at me.

"How are you doing, Arlo?" He asked and I told him I was okay looking around the room.

Where was he? Where was Westin? It didn't look like he was in the house. If he was why would he let his dad wake me up.

"Westin went to work... he'll be back for his lunch around twelve, he doesn't usually come for lunch but I have a feeling he is coming today. Anyway get ready and come down stairs I made breakfast especially for you." He grinned, walking out of the room.

I sat up straight and groaned at last night's event. I remember clearly what happened yesterday. I kissed him...I initiated the kiss. We almost slept together.

Shit.

I sighed grabbing my phone to see if Garrett and Fin heard from the hacker guy. Surprised to see a bunch of missed from Fin and messages asking where I was. I dialled his number and watched as he picked up the call at the third ring.

"Fin, did something happen?" I asked, alarmed.

"I should be asking you that! How did you find the only fans guy?!"

"The only what now? What are you talking about Fin?"

"I'm talking about the video you sent to the class to the group, Arlo. How'd you find it? And I think you are officially un-suspended!" I could hear the excitement from his voice but that just made me even more confused.

"Uh...what are you talking about?" I put Fin on speaker and went to the class messaging board. I sent the sex tape video and some nudes unedited same as those everyone claimed they belonged to me.

I gasped looking at the message sent by my own cell phone:

Fuck all the assholes who called me a slut. Next time don't go around playing with fake evidence. Disgusting pieces of shit heads.

The message read and immediately I knew Westin wrote it. How the hell did he get ahold of the unedited photos and videos?

"Oh my God, Fin, I didn't send those but I think I know who did."

"What...who did? How'd they get into your phone?"

"I...I don't have a password. I don't even know how he got ahold of these videos and nudes. I'll ask him when he gets back."

"This means you can come back to school, Arlo! Where are you today? I asked Garrett to check on you but he said he only found your mom home." He questioned and I sighed thinking of my mom and the heated argument we got into.

I still couldn't believe she called me that. She called me a slut. She somehow found out about the nudes Xander pinned it on me. She didn't believe me when I told her it wasn't me.

She didn't even try to understand what I'm going through. She just exploded. She even tried hitting me.

"Arlo, sweetie your breakfast is getting cold!" I heard Westin's dad exclaim.

"I'll be down in a minute!" I replied covering the speaker on my phone.

"Hey, Fin...I have to go, I'll call you later. Bye." I told him then hung up.

Now I wasn't really sure what to do. Should I be happy that I gained my dignity back? How was I going to face everyone? I spent the past four days ranking my brain on how to solve my situation that I hadn't even thought how I'd deal with my situation after that. I didn't even eat much caring about my meals was the last thing in my head.
