Orion: Y'know. Konosuba doesn't make sense. Now here me out. The concept is brilliant. A person dies and they have the option to continue into the afterlife or they can go into an MMORPG with a power of their choice. Now here's the problem. Assuming an intense fan of all anime gets the choice to go into the world. They have an unlimited array of weapons to choose from and potentially just break the world in two. Now sure said fan can't use all of them but they can just choose the most powerful power they know of.
Now there might be a restraining system like "Sure you can have it but you have to level up immensely to do that." But then it raises the question. Does something like the infinity gauntlet have all the stones or are you forced to collect them, or do you have to level up to gain one, and if they are collectables can other adventurers take the stones for themselves or are they exclusive to you.
See, the mechanics of this world are finicky and can cause way too many problems. Another example: Say you want powers from a pokemon, say Lucario, do you become the pokemon or do you just have the powers. Or, if you have the powers can you only choose 2 like the card games or like the anime you can use any move? And if that's the case do you have to yell out the attack?
Another example: How do Saiyans work? If you were to become Saiyan what restrictions do you have? If someone were to say "I want to become Goku." Are they limited to what Goku has done in his history? Does that restrict them from using moves such as wild cannon or Galick gun? Or if someone said "Make me a full blooded Saiyan" what are the restrictions there? Do they also have a tail or do they not? Or better question does their body follow the same physiology as a Saiyan would? Or even better does this "giving power to a person" not allow a person's philology? Or can they copy the same moves that other Saiyans have done? Or can they also transform into Oozaru?
Then there's video game characters. This one's a doozy but I'll still do it because I need to reach past 1000. So, if a person were to say something like "Make me ____" how far do you become said character. Like if you said Cloud Strife, do you know have the ability to do limit breaks? Or better yet does materia become a resource you can find around the world? Or if it's something like street fighter like "I wanna be Ryu." Do you have every move Ryu ever had? Or do you also have evil Ryu's Move since canonically he is still Ryu?
Now that my start up rant is over onto the next subject. The actual world itself. Are there any naturally occurring people in Belzerg? I mean sure there's Wiz but she's one of the demon king's generals so that technically wouldn't count. There's Luna the one who give your rank and whatnot but was she "born" or did she suddenly appear with the knowledge of how to use the magic orb? There's also Megamin but she's a modified human meaning she was also a reincarnated human at one point, so does that really count? Is everyone in Belzerg just a reincarnated person? There's not really much to tell. In the series there's a particular moment when the cabbage collecting moment where right before it happens Luna says,"All adventurers come to the front gate." Does that mean that all reincarnated people are adventurers or does that mean reincarnated people who CHOSE to become adventurers. Again with the guild, it's said to be optional so meaning that some reincarnated people aren't even adventurers, and with my type of thinking does that mean that there are some families in Belzerg that consistent of reincarnated parents and their child? There's no confirmation of any actual reproduction being done (but then again who would actually want to know asides from me because y'know. I'm the one asking) but considering that Belzerg is just another reality where you can live your life like a video game it wouldn't be wrong to assume sexual intercourse would happen. So does that mean that theoretically Luna was born from two reincarnated people that died from referring to Luna's age being 22 assuming the year konosuba take place in 2019, her parents would have been reincarnated in the 1990's. Now, its really hard to find any confirmation if wether or not you actually can have children but again as mentioned Belzerg could just be another reality where you do MMORPG stuff it wouldn't be wrong to assume as such. Now coming to another member of the party, Darkness, apparently she was born from a family of nobles meaning that it answers my first question of this paragraph.
Now I want to mention the part with the demon lord. This guy makes my theorist brain on the inside go haywire. Apparently this dude is the one trying to take over the world right? And apparently whoever kills the demon king would replace him. Meaning there's never an end to the world. And the actual history behind the guy is even worse. Apparently he came from a tribe where they somehow got their hands on the same state cards reincarnated people get MEANING that they existed before the gods said,"Yeah just get dead people and have them try to stop the demon guy." Then that means that those cards existed before reincarnated people came around and now they're being used to combat the cards. You get what I'm saying. Of course you don't because that type of logic doesn't make sense. Think about it, "Yeah there's demon guy with an op stats card and we're going to give you a less powerful one so you can fight him by living your life in an MMORPG."
It makes no sense. Anyways, thanks for actually putting up with my bullshit rant about Konosuba and I'm closing it off just so I can write a chapter about the super Mario movie.

FanfictionYep. I've officially gone the deep end and now I'm making a "universes react to" book. Xenophanes: So much for not doing one! Orion: Get out of here! But yes. I did say I wasn't going to do one but then I thought, "I've already made like four books...
