The girls were thinking deeply about my question. Multiple memories pass through their heads and find strange patterns. Multiple times he stumbled on his words when referring himself as Commander. He almost always calls himself something beginning with War or accidentally calls the shipgirls young ones.

Kaga: Well, it was when he was inspecting the bases one of his rings glowed red. I didn't think of it but now that he is stating something is more about commander. I'm certain it's something important.
Belfast: I recall when I was delivering his paperwork I heard him hitting his computer and he yelled "Damn primitive technology!"
