Manners Maketh Man [Yelena Belova X Male Reader]

From the Ashes...

"Shit!" Yelena muttered to herself as she put her hands up, in an instant she used her watch to drop a smoke bomb and began to escape, she was nearly at the exit but shutters blocked the door off, she drew her gun and began to try and find an alternate exit. She managed to flee into the underground archives and was holding off in a room, but she was pinned down with hostile backup coming any second, she was using the breaks between the waves of soldiers to gather ammo and weapons as she was simply trying to make her last stand.

She saw soldiers arrive down the corridor and pulled the trigger on the rifle she had picked up only to hear a click, she drew her pistol and tried to fire only to hear a click. She was out of ammo and out of time...

Yelena tried to think of a way out of the impending death that was arriving, the form of droves of soldiers flooding into the underground corridor with their weapons at the ready. 

She took a breath to compose herself when she heard the sound of an explosion, she peeked out from her cover and that was when she saw him, Y/N was leading a squad of soldiers as they burst through the roof and dropped down, setting about in taking down the hostile forces.

He was wearing his Kingsman suit again. Yelena's face instantly grew a smile.

Y/N set about decimating the hostile soldiers like they were nothing, thanks to his team mates covering the rear flank, he was able to keep focused on the soldiers in front of him, all thirteen of them.

Y/N attacked the first soldier by tripping them up and shooting them before rolling into the next soldier, pressing the underbarrel shotgun into the second soldiers gut and fired, he grabbed his dead enemy and used them as a human shield, he grabbed the dead soldiers combat knife and threw it into the eye socket of the soldier shooting his dead comrades body. He shoved the dead body into another soldier, knocking them off balance before he shot them in the head and used his watch to kill another. The sixth soldier wend down from Y/N using the scissor take down to snap their neck, he rolled into the seventh and headbutted them in the throat before pulling them close to him to use as a human shield as his allies fired at him, hitting their friend with an onslaught of bullets.

Y/N grabbed the combat knife from the dead soldiers body and charged the soldiers, he jumped on one and used the hidden knife in his shoe to stab them in the eye, as he landed he rolled and stabbed the next guard in throat before tearing the knife out of their throat and throwing the knife into the head of the next enemy. He shot the final three soldiers in the head with his sidearm.

When the fight was over, Y/N holstered his pistol and approached Yelena, making sure to avoid her name.

"Get the file, we need to go." Y/N said as Yelena downloaded all of the files from the computer and followed Y/N and the 141 to the elevator, they all crowded into the elevator as Y/N handed Price a C4 charge. Yelena noticed Y/N was avoiding eye contact with her. The elevator dinged and the doors began opening as Y/N and Price nodded at each other before throwing the C4 through the door at the awaiting battalions of troops waiting for them, both charges went off and the two of them threw flashbangs through the door, waiting for them to go off before the team moved through the door firing at the soldiers that were still recovering, they fled to the shutters and used a thermite charge to blow through the shutters.

They rushed out to the escape van and drove off to a nearby warehouse When they arrived at the warehouse they change vehicles, splitting into two groups of four and getting into two police cars and making the long arduous drive to the next safe house with an airfield, they had a quinjet stashed there and were going to use that to get out of the country.

When they were all on the jet, Y/N was focusing on flying to avoid the risk of talking to Yelena and hearing or saying her name.

"It's like he doesn't recognise me-"

"He does. He still cares, that's why he's avoiding you." Price said as he looked at Yelena.

"What?" She asked as Price sat opposite her.

"He still has your name programmed, but he came because he had a feeling that you were in trouble, he need's to go back to Wakanda and finish getting that shite out of his head and then he's coming back for good, but for now, he thinks it's too risky." Price explained as Yelena looked at Y/N in the pilot seat before she let out a sigh, Price put his hand on her shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, he'll come back to you soon."

Yelena nodded as she smiled at Price before sitting back in her seat, closing her eyes and falling asleep...
