Yelena was with Y/N in a hotel room, talking through everything she had found, Y/N was wearing a spare pair of Kingsman glasses he managed to steal a while back, they weren't the latest model but that would make it less likely for them to be tracked. Arthur often thought like that, never looking outside the box, and there was little chance of anyone at Kinsman guessing his home computer password, none of them even knew he was close enough to the owner of the name that made his password. Merlin may have some idea about the name but definitely not the number combination he had at the end. The password was one of his closest secrets thanks to who it was named after, if Kingsman or anyone else knew about it problems beyond his nightmares would ensue, not to mention that no one would trust him for not telling them.

Yelena was watching him not taking notes or writing anything and she rolled her eyes.

"How are you going to remember this?" She asked as Y/N took the glasses off and put them on her face, she saw the HUD and the recording symbol in the corner before taking them off and handing them to Y/N. "They can't trace that can they?"

"Not unless they can get into my computer, which they can't." Y/N smirked as Yelena looked at him.

"A bit overconfident isn't it?"

"Not really no, they can't figure out my password because they don't know about my password on any level."

"Is it a loved one?"

"Yes." Y/N said painfully after a pause he looked away and continued to pack his luggage.

"Wife?"

"I like to think that maybe they would have been one day." Y/N said as he began to pack his suits.

"Girlfriend?"

"Not anymore no." Y/N said as he sounded distant.

"What did you break up?" Yelena asked as Y/N allowed the question to hang in the air for a moment.

"She died. I thought I could get over it easily with a rebound and well that didn't work out, turns out her death affected me worse than I thought." Y/n said as Yelena looked to Y/N with sorry.

"I shouldn't have pried."

"Please, it's only natural to be curious about someone's past especially when you're currently in a hotel room with them." Y/N said as Yelena smiled.

"Was she pretty?"

"Beautiful, she had the most wonderful eyes and hair I'd seen." Y/N said before realizing he was revealing a lot to someone who hours ago was trying to kill him. "Anyway, we can discuss the rest on the drive to, Italy wasn't it?"

"Yes, Rome. You're probably getting sick of visiting Italy on missions." Yelena said as Y/N chuckled.

"Not really, then again before I worked in this job I worked in some really shit places."

"Bad office life?"

"You could say that, Military, and well they never sent me on a trip to Rome with a five star hotel room." Y/N said as Yelena nodded.

"So that explains how well you fought."

"Yes well, the legendary Crimson Widow saying that would be a compliment." Y/N answered as Yelena raised her brow.

"How do you know about that name?"

"I'm from a group of spies, it's our job to know stuff like that."

"What else do you know about me?" Yelena said as Y/N could see her looking at him with death in her eyes.

"Let's just say I heard about you from a friend before joining the spy group." Y/N said as Yelena raised her brow. "One of my old military friends knew you, they escaped you know where and joined the military."

"What was her name?"

"Classified." Y/N said reverting to training which cased Yelena to reach for her gun under the chair and find it wasn't there. "looking for something?"

"I trusted you?"

"Clearly. I trust you still, because right now we're both on the same side, but that doesn't mean I'm betraying the trust of someone who I loved for you, don't ever make the mistake of thinking I will betray her, she was very dear to me and I'd never betray them even when they're dead. If we want to work together then we need to trust each other, have one another's backs, not aim a gun at our backs." Y/N said giving Yelena the glock back with the magazine removed and the bullet in the chamber ejected.

"How did you?-"

"Like I said, my friend received the same training as you, she in turn trained me, I know how Black Widow's think." Y/N said coldly as he walked away to finish packing. Yelena was in awe at this agent, he knew just what to tell her and what to keep to himself in order to keep certain things a mystery, he also knew how to play her the same way she probably knew to play him, they were stalemated. "Shall we go? the drive is going to be a long one."

They stepped outside and saw a red classic Jaguar E-type.

Y/N analyzed it before putting the luggage in and scanning his finger prints in the handle to the passenger side, he let Yelena in the passenger seat

Y/N analyzed it before putting the luggage in and scanning his finger prints in the handle to the passenger side, he let Yelena in the passenger seat.

"Y/N, this car is the only help I can give you in the hope that you clear your name and that of the woman you risked it for, I want you to know that you're no traitor to me, or the two Galahads, despite what Arthur says, it's fitted with everything but a tracker, but for god's sake bring it back in one piece, who am I kidding, you wouldn't want a scratch on that thing either. Good luck, Gawain." Merlin said on a small screen in a recorded message.

Yelena saw the cold and calculated facade crack for a moment as Y/N lingered on looking at the screen, seeing his friend and mentor for what might be the last time.

"You okay?" She asked as Y/N paused for a moment before setting off on the long journey through multiple border crossings and across multiple countries.
