Chapter 8:
Let me take care of you..

Amy's POV:
The last thing I Remember was being in Sonic's arms. I soon realized I am not where I was. I am laying in Sonic's bed. I groan a little trying to make out what I can see. "Oh, you're awake! Thank goodness. We we're v getting worried." Orbot exclaims.
I smile as my stomach began to rumble. I cover my face in embarrassment. "Oh, you're hungry. I can fix you up something. No need to be embarrassed." He looks at me cheerfully. I couldn't help but smile back. I put my finger on my nose as I sat on thought. "I know it's not morning, but I'm kinda in the mood for pancakes."

Cubot says, "There's never a wrong time for pancakes." I giggle. Later on he brings me my food. I eat it and realized something. "You know, just because you're robots doesn't mean you don't need rest too. We won't make you do all those things that Eggman did. We generally care about you too. Your feelings matter." I explain to them. Orbot saddens a little. "Thank you Miss Amy. That means a lot. Considering we we're extremely over worked and we're basically used as Eggman's slave.

I promise you me and Cubot will assist you and help you in any way we can because we care about you too." I smile at both of them and give them a hug. "Aw thanks!" I pat there heads as I finish my plate. But the realization sets in. "Where's Sonic?!" I blurt out. "He's still in Eggman's base cleaning up the erhm..uh..mess." I say worryingly , "How long has he been gone?" "About four hours." WHAT. FOUR HOURS. I'm beginning to miss Sonic dearly. I hope he comes back soon. "Oh. I see. I will go to him." Cubot stops me. "Sonic's straight orders were for you to remain here until he returns."

Knowing Sonic I know if I went anyway he would kill these two in a heartbeat and rip
them apart. I'll just play it safe I guess. Hope you're ok Sonic.

I sigh in defeat. Orbot insists, "You should rest Miss Amy." I nod. "But, can one of you stay in here with me?" I plead. I just can't be alone right now. I pat the bed as he hopped right beside me. I lay my head back and bring Orbot closer to me. I don't remember much before hugging Orbot and falling asleep on him. All I could think about was Sonic.

Sonic's POV:
Geez. That took way longer than expected. I dust my hands together and look at the clock. 3 AM? Oh chaos. Amy is probably worried sick. I should get home. I hurried out of Eggman's base and quickly home. I open the door, run upstairs and open the bedroom door. I see Amy peacefully sound asleep with Orbot.

A wave of jealousy fell over me. I know he's a robot, but does he seriously have to be that close? I growl getting Orbot's and Cubot's attention. "Oh good. You're home." Orbot silently gets out of Amy's arms and into the floor. "Can we assist you with anything else?" I pause for a moment. "No that's all for now. You may rest downstairs in the living room.

They nod and obeyed, closing the bedroom door behind them. I go on the bed and just look at Amy's face. She's so peaceful when she's sleeping. And beautiful.
I stroke her hair as I kiss her forehead. She slowly opens her eyes. "Sonikkue?.." She says tiredly. I couldn't help but blush a little.

Her voice is so cute. And her bed head is too adorable. "Hi sleeping beauty." She smiles and holds me. I wrap my arms around her embracing her with affection. "I missed you so much." I said as I kissed her lots of times making her giggle.

I lay her head on my chest as I played with her hair. "Please..don't leave me like that again. I was so lonely." I whisper in her ear. "I won't. I promise sweetheart." She blushes and yawns. "Just sleep my Rose. I'll be here with you." I pull the blankets over us as I begin to close my eyes. Everything was a blur after that.
