Chapter 10:
The Ugly Truth.

Sonic's POV:
"Where are we going Sonic?" She asked me. "We're gonna run through Lost Valley. Now hang on tight." I sped through it going Crazy fast. We finally reached to the chao garden. I set her down gently. I turn my head and see Amy dizzy. "Oh.. sorry about that Ames." I laugh nervously and fix her quills.

She Blushes a little. She looks around and gasps. "Oh wow! This place is beautiful." She looks around everywhere pointing at and examining all the different Chaos. "Oh my gosh look at this one" she points at a purple one. "And this one" and points at a white one with a cute little halo on top. "And this one!"

She points at a blue chao. I chuckle. Man she's just so cute right now. She's moving faster than me. "Can I pleaseeeee take this one pretty pleaseee?" She begged." "It looks just like you."
I look at it and then her. "Fine. Only because you're cute." I hold my hands behind my back and shift my eyes away as I blush a little. She hugs me. "Thank you thank you. Thank you." I blush more hugging her back.

"Cmon Ames." I hold my hand out. She takes my hand as I lead her farther into the garden. A couple minutes later we arrive at a grassy plain area with one single table in the middle with lights around us. She gasps in excitement. Her tail wagging. I couldn't help but blush. She's just too damn cute. "What are you waiting for?" I ask her. I walk to her table pulling out her chair for her.

She sat down and then I sat myself down. "Such a gentleman" she says and blushes. I smile at her. "Anything for my beautiful Rose." She Blushes more. I love seeing her blush. The pink tint to her rosy cheeks makes her even cuter. "Sonic, this is amazing and all, but is there a reason you're doing this?" I blush. "I just wanted to do something nice for my Rose."

After we finished talking we began to eat our food. Everything was going great so far. Now I just gotta wait till we're done and signal Rouge. We had finished eating and I saw Rouge at the corner of my eye as she waited for my signal. I have her the signal. She hit play and a song came on. "Where's that coming from? She looks around.

(A/N: just insert any slow dance song you know. Just to set the mood.)

I offer my hand. "Care for a dance?" She panics. "W-wait I don't know how to dance-" I take her hand and pull her close to me. She blushes a little. "Relax. Just follow my lead."

I hold one of her hands while the other, on her waist. I keep the eye contact. She looks back in my eyes, as hers sparkle in the moonlight. I wished this moment would last forever. Just me and her. Every time I'm with her. I feel like it's just us. No problems. Just two people. Connected.

I sway to the music. "You look so beautiful tonight, Amy." She blushed a lot. "And you look handsome, Sonic." My cheeks burn up. "Amy, you mean a lot to me. I hope you know that. I would do anything for you." Her eyes sparkled as I told her how I felt about her. "You're so beautiful. I love everything about you. Your laugh, your voice, your bubbly personality" I go on. "You're the sweetest person I've ever met.

You're always there for me when I needed you. And now, this time. I'll be there for you." Amy slowly builds up tears in her eyes. I wipe them away still holding her. I kiss her softly as the song ends. I get down on one knee and hold her hand. "S-Sonic?.." breathe. You got this Sonic.

I take out a small box opening it revealing the ring. "Amelia Rosetta, will you spend the rest of your life with me, and marry me?" She gasps as tears starting to form. I was shaking a little only out of nervousness. Why am I worried? I know she's gonna say yes. "S-Sonic I.. of cour-"

Amy was just about to answer when suddenly  a familiar voice is heard. "Stop." They said as they held their hand out. We both turn our heads and stand there shocked.
