a/n - i'm back oh yeah!! vote!! i love this story it deserves a better ending!!!

i drop to the ground first, letting olivia down. suit off. she faces me, fixing up my probably wrinkled jacket before we start walking to the nail salon. "you have no idea how much money you've saved me," olivia chuckles. "oh, for sure. i've at least saved 50k," i say. "50k?!" liv says, looking at me with a smile. "yeah, i got my license a few years ago. plus, the gas prices have skyrocketed," i explain. "that's true," olivia agrees. "you know, i'm still not used to swinging around in literally my outfit," i say, looking around. "you're not used to the millions of pictures you take as well, right?" olivia asks. "not one bit," i agree, looking at my web shooters then back up. i furrow my eyebrows, putting a hand on liv's shoulder, making us both stop on the side of the sidewalk.

the familiar feeling of my spine tingles, and i stare at the ground to see if it was just a hoax that could've been a headache or something. "what?" olivia's slightly muffled voice asks. "oh my god," i exhale, relieved as a man with a camera over his shoulder comes around the corner. the tingling fades away.

we continue walking to the nail salon, which wasn't that far ahead by now. "y/n, olivia, how you doing?" "we're good," i answer for us, "how about you?" "i'm good," he responds, keeping the camera on us. i try not to laugh as we don't say a word to each other.

i look back at the paparazzi. "so i'm new to this whole papazarri thing, are we just gonna not say a word to each other and awkwardly walk in silence?" i burst out with a chuckle, liv and the paparazzi laughing too. "no, no, that's true," the man says, "have you gotten a manager?" "no, i'm not gonna get one either. i like to... control my life," i say, smiling and looking at olivia, "no offence, liv." she laughs, shaking her head. "one of the best things about y/n, olivia? we need the spiderlivia content!" olivia and i laugh. "spiderlivia? that's new," i say. "one of the best things about y/n..." olivia thinks, "is that she's like... my personal bodyguard. you can't tell me you wouldn't feel safe around spider-woman." i smile. "one of the best things about olivia, y/n?" i get asked the same question. "one of the best things about olivia is she makes me feel safe," i match olivia's answer, "that was cheesy, wasn't it?" "yeah, that was gross. don't ever say that again," olivia jokes with a smile, moving closer to me.

we walk into the nail salon not far from the mall, the paparazzi leaving us as i open the door. i let olivia in first, letting go of the door as i walk in after.

i sit beside olivia as she starts to get her nails done. "you sure you don't wanna get yours done too? this could be a cute date," liv says, looking at me. "i can't, liv, unless you want my nails to rip through my suit, or them to break in an instant," i say, smiling at her as i lean back into the chair. "you don't wanna shop around the mall while you wait? i'm gonna be a while." "i'll wait for you," i answer. "okay, you can help me pick my nail design!"

i quickly take out my phone, going onto pinterest, "you should do these ones, they look great," i say, showing olivia a photo. the nails were a deep red colour with white spider webs on them. olivia laughs, "seriously? if you want me to get those, i'll get them." "i mean, they look great, don't you think?" "they do look nice," liv agrees. i show the nail technician my phone.

as olivia was almost done with her nails, even though she says that but it ends up being a lot longer than 'soon', i turn around on my chair, seeing a group of 6 paparazzis waiting outside. i turn back around, fiddling with my suit device on my waist band.

i smile at olivia's phone as she takes a selfie with her left hand up, showing her nails. "can i see the photo?" i ask. liv hands her phone to me. i zoom in on the background, seeing the paparazzi standing there. i laugh, showing her. "what a photo bomb," she laughs too, turning her phone off.
