a/n - writers block :(( hope u guys enjoy <33 MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE!! consider this a christmas give from me to u💞

i look in the rear mirror as i continue driving home, seeing a black car, which was the same black car from a few minutes after we left. i furrow my eyebrows, looking onto the road as i tap my fingers on the wheel. "what's wrong?" liv whispers. "there's someone following us," i say, looking at the rear mirror again. "on christmas day?" she says. "i know right," i mumble, turning right, "let me try lose them." liv sits up, looking at her side mirror. i turn left, the car still following.

i see a set of lights, that had just turned yellow. i press the accelerator down, the car starting to rev. "bmw's are so sexy," liv says. "hold on," i say, pressing my foot down more.

we drive past the intersection just as the lights turn red, and i look at the rear mirror, seeing the car stop at the red lights. "lost them," i say. "smart move," liv responds, "by the way, conan, madison and iris are already at our house, and madison bought the gingerbread houses." "perfect, we'll be there in 10," i reply, turning right.

i park the car in the garage, and we get out. i open the door, and maya jumps out, following me as i open the door to the house.

i let conan, madison and iris walk in the house with their bag of spare clothes, closing the door behind them. "merry christmas!" we all exclaim, laughing.

i sit beside olivia, madison on my right. conan was opposite me, next to iris on the other side of the table. i place the vodka bottle on the table, shot glasses and lime beside it. conan starts to hand out the gingerbread houses, icing and candy. i pour a shot of vodka in every glass, handing them out. i pass one in front of liv, closing the bottle.

i focus on the icing, starting to ice the roof. "how is yours so good?" liv asks, looking at mine. "well, first mistake was assembling the house before decorating," i say, looking over at liv's gingerbread house. "true..." she says, looking at her gingerbread house too.

after making the gingerbread house, i wait for the others to finish. i pick up my shot glass, squeezing some lime in it. i drink it, scrunching my face slightly.

everyone watches as conan finally finishes his gingerbread house. he places the icing down, looking at his gingerbread house. "oh..." he mumbles in disappointment of his house, pursing his lips. i slide the shot glass to him, pressing my lips together with an understanding nod, stopping the glass in front of him.

i check the time, which was 3am, before falling onto the bed. "i could throw up now," liv says, speech slightly slurred from the vodka. "face the other way," i mumble, throwing the blanket over me "hm, thanks," liv says, facing me and laying on my pillow as her leg slides over my stomach.

liv moves her head onto my shoulder. she brings her index and middle finger to my cheek, guiding my head her way. she presses her nose slightly against mine, causing me to smell the faint vodka. "hey," i whisper. liv smiles, "hi." i take the time to admire olivia's facial features, then bringing my eyes back up to hers, "you're beautiful, you know that?" liv quietly chuckles, "vodka's getting to your head." "vodka's getting to your head," i smile.

olivia shifts her body closer to me, and i close my eyes slowly as olivia leans in to kiss me. after a few seconds, olivia pull away as she lets out a sigh, "you haven't-" i cut olivia off, "been patrolling the past week or two, i know." she lets out a smile, rubbing her thumb against my cheek. "christmas week, i wanna spend it with you," i answer. "speaking of spending time with you... i've gotta get back to work in a week," liv says, frowning. "work... as in spending months at a fancy studio in new york and leaving behind your girlfriend and your dog?" i smile. "no..." liv smiles, "because i want you and maya to come with me. 2 months in new york, how does that sound?"

i chuckle shaking my head softly, "you're not serious." "dead," liv says, "i've got a really nice apartment, i could use the company, and you'd be back in new york. sounds like a win for the both of us. imagine the literal rooftop dinners we could have! please? it's not permanent, like a 3 month holiday!" "true..." i agree, uncertain. "true as in yeah? yeah as in you'll come with me?" i laugh, "i'll come with you." "yes!" liv shouts, and i quickly cover her mouth. "liv, it's 3am and conan, madison, iris and maya are sleeping," i remind her.

i lift my hand off her mouth, placing it on her waist. "sorry," she apologises, "i'm just really excited." i smile, kissing the corner of olivia's lips, "i know."

a week later
we walk into the apartment, and i chuckle, letting maya off the lead. "this is cool," i say, looking around. "right?" liv responds. "i'm hungry," i say. "we can go out for dinner now," liv says. "we'll get everything out of the car first," i say, standing the suitcases on the floor.

we walk into the bedroom, and i jump onto the bed. "don't break the bed on the first day," liv says. i look at her, not saying anything. "oh my god, shut up," she groans with a laugh, walking into the bathroom.

i laugh too, standing up and walking to my suitcase. i take out my web shooters, flicking the suitcase down. "can we swing there?" i ask liv, sliding my web shooters on. "but i don't wanna ruin my hair, i'm straightening it," liv says, "we can take a swing at night?" "yeah, at night," i say, walking into the bathroom. i look into the mirror, watching liv, "want me to straighten the rest?" olivia smiles, facing me. "thank you," she says, handing me the straightener. i smile, taking it and starting to straighten her hair.

olivia and i walk to the apartment carpark, and i unlock the car with the keys. i look over at liv, then speeding my walk slightly. i reach the passenger door first, opening it up for olivia. she laughs, "thank you, parker." i hum, watching her get in. i look down, just in case her legs weren't in. after she fully gets in, i close the door. i look up, pressing my index and middle finger down to my palm. a web shoots to the garage ceiling, and i pull myself up, swinging over to the other side of the car.

i let go of the web, opening the driver's door and getting in. "too lazy to go around?" liv asks, looking at me with a smile. "yeah, too lazy," i say, starting up the car. "i kinda forgot you were spider-woman," liv says. "is that a good thing or a bad thing?" i ask, reversing. "uh..." liv thinks, "i don't know, i just forgot." "fair enough," i say.

on the way to the restaurant, i pull into the starbucks drive-through. "want anything?" i ask. "no, i'm good thanks," olivia answers. "you sure?" i ask again. "i'm sure." i nod, stopping at the machine.

after getting the matcha iced-latte, i drive out of the drive-through with a thank you. i look over at liv, who was on her phone. i place my drink in front of her, pressing it lightly against her arm. she winces, looking at me. "have some," i say, keeping my eyes on the road. "i'll have a sip," liv says, "thanks." she takes it, and i place both hands on the wheel.

i turn left, and liv's left hand holds my chin. she leans over, and i slightly open my mouth, bringing it over the lid where the hole was. liv tips the cup, laughing as it starts to drip down my chin. liv slides her hand to catch it, placing the drink back into the cup holder between us.

i swallow the drink as liv gets a tissue, wiping the tea off her hand. "you could've just passed the drink to me," i say, stopping at a red light. "well where's the romance in that?" liv asks, leaning over to wipe tea off my chin.
