"y/n, we have a problem," liv says, waking me up. i groan, opening my eyes, "what, that you don't have a dog in your hands right now?" "no- well yes, that too, but i'm being serious," she says, walking over to the bed, "i was just about to leave to go to the studio, but there's at least 10 paparazzi outside our house right now."
i groan loudly again, throwing the blanket off me and getting off the bed. "wait y/n," liv says. i stop beside her, and she looks me down, then up. "look at what you're wearing." i look down, seeing myself in a bra and underwear. i sigh, walking to the bathroom and taking a robe from the back of the door.
liv's hand holds my arm, "are you sure you wanna go down there and feed them what they want?" i think about it. "want me to just swing you? if they're just at the front door, we'll head out the balcony," i say. "that sounds good." i give a small smile, rubbing my eyes and taking off the robe. i hang it back on the door, clipping my device onto my underwear. suit on.
i drop down in front of dan's house, letting olivia down. mask off. "tell dan i say hi, yeah?" i say. "of course, thanks for dropping me off here," liv smiles. she leans forward, kissing me quickly before walking into dan's house.
i watch as she walks in, closing the door after blowing a kiss. suit on. "EDITH, call josh," i say. the phone starts to call, and josh picks up. "hey! you're still coming over, right?" he asks. "yep, on my way now."
suit off. i knock on josh's door, and it opens. "hey!" he says, letting me in. "hi josh, thanks for doing this for me," i smile, watching him close the door and locking it. "of course, the puppy's just this way," he jogs.
i follow him, seeing a brown cavoodle puppy. "oh my gosh!" i fall to the floor, letting the puppy rush to me. "she's so cute!" i exclaim, hugging her tight. "she is, isn't she?" josh laughs, sitting beside me.
after transferring josh's aunt for the dog and spending another hour there, i decide to go home before olivia's home.
after setting up the puppy's bed and placing the bowls in the kitchen, i hear the door unlock. as the puppy was in our room, i walk over to liv. "close your eyes, liv liv," i say. "what? why?" she asks. "just trust me," i say, standing behind her and covering her eyes with my hands. "don't hurt me," she laughs as i start to guide her upstairs.
thankfully, the puppy was playing with her dog silently. a big grin comes on my face as i see my phone was recording everything. i face olivia towards the dog. "3, 2, 1!" i count down, removing my hands off of olivia. olivia gasps loudly, turning to me, "you're joking. oh my god, you're fucking with me!" "i wouldn't! surprise, liv!" she squeals, hugging me tight before running to the puppy.
i watch olivia from the bed as she plays with the puppy. "have you thought of a name for her?" i ask. "no, i'm still thinking of one," she says, "how about... maya?" liv gives a soft smile. "like... aunt may?" i ask. "yeah, like may." "are you sure?" i ask again. "i'm sure! maya you are then," liv smiles, looking at the dog as she kisses maya's nose.
