a/n - hi, please vote ! enjoy :)

olivia's pov

after sending at least 100 messages to y/n with no response and texting her friends, i still had no idea where she was. "where could she be..." i think, sighing.

i walk up to wilshire, walking in the building. "celebrity card it is," i mumble to myself. i walk up to the receptionist, politely clearing my throat.

i tap the last floor on the elevator button, the doors closing. i wait rather impatiently as the elevator starts going up, tapping my foot and looking around the empty elevator.

y/n's pov

i hear the building door open, not even bothered to put my mask on or turn around. "y/n!" i look up, standing up. "what're you doing here, olivia?" i say, turning around to see her walking up to me, bag in hand. "i call you, messaged you so many times, i even messaged your friends!" "if you're here to yell at me again, i really don't need it right now," i say, holding back my tears. "no... no, i saw you on the news." "everyone did, olivia... don't act like you care now."

we stay a fair distance away from each other. "i didn't... i didn't mean it. i swear, it just came out. um, but i wasn't here to talk about us... can we just put everything between us aside for now? i wanted to talk about you." i let out a shaky breath, shrugging. "there's nothing to talk about. may's gone, everyone knows who i am. i didn't want this to happen, olivia," i say, pressing my lips together to try and stop my tears from falling.

olivia walks up to me, opening her arms. i look down, and her arms wrap around me, pulling me closer. i squeeze my eyes shut, almost melting into the hug. "y/n... it's okay to cry." olivia whispers. tears start streaming down my face, and i couldn't stop them this time.

olivia rubs my back soothingly as i cry into her shoulder. "i don't know what to do, olivia," i whisper, legs getting weak. "that's okay... you don't need to know what to do now," she whispers back, guiding me to the floor after, noticing the weight i put on her as i leant into her. i let go of the hug, sitting opposite her. "may's gone," i whisper, shaking my head. "i know... i heard on the news, i'm so sorry," liv says, frowning. "i already miss her," i say, looking away from olivia. "i know... but she's still with you." i stand up slowly, stumbling a little.

i start to walk to the edge of the building, and liv follows, putting her bag behind her. "where are you going?" she asks. "just here," i mumble, sitting on the edge. olivia sits next to me, staring into my eyes, "you don't have to keep everything in, y/n." "i've got no one to tell, the only person i talk to about this stuff is may," i say, shrugging. "i'm here, parker," she says, placing her hand on my thigh. i look at olivia, looking away.

i softly kick my leg against the wall, olivia sliding her hand off my thigh. "we haven't talked in forever," she says. "yeah..." i mumble. "i'm here for you. i know we've had our ups and downs, and trust me, i'm sick of it. i promise, i promise, i'll be here for you." i look at olivia again, "thank you," i say. she gives me a small smile, faltering.

i look away, staring into the city as i fiddle with my mask

i look away, staring into the city as i fiddle with my mask. "you don't have to do this as a sympathy act," i say. "it's nothing like that," olivia says, "it killed me that our last proper conversation was us fighting. i can't sleep peacefully with your words still stinging from our fight." "yeah... same. everything's going downhill from here," i admit, sighing. "don't think like that," liv says, "i'm here for you."

i pull out of my thoughts as olivia taps my shoulder. "have you eaten? your friends said they've knocked on your door these past two days, you haven't been home." i shake my head. "i'm not that hungry," i partly lie. "keyword that," olivia says, picking up her plastic bag.

she starts taking out food, smiling at me. "first on the menu, we have fried rice!" she hands me a container, then handing me a fork. "olivia i-" "eat, please... y/n," she practically begs. i look down at the fried rice, nodding and taking off the lid. "oh! and to wash it all down, your smoothie, and i also have water." she hands the smoothie to me, lid already off. "thank you," i thank, holding the container that was placed on my lap, taking the smoothie and taking a sip. "how does it taste? i never got to try it, i was in a rush." "taste it," i say, handing it to her. she takes it, drinking some. "tastes great," she says, smiling.

i finish the food, placing the containers back in the bag. i hand the quarter of my smoothie back to olivia. "you can have the rest liv, i'm stuffed," i say. she smiles, taking it. "thanks," she thanks. she finishes it off, putting it back in the bag. "you know you can't stay here forever," liv says. "yeah... i know," i sigh. "on the bright side, everyone loves you!" olivia takes out her phone, going on twitter. "look," she says, shuffling closer to me. "number one on trending," she says. "not sure how i feel about that," i say. she chuckles, scrolling through tweets. "ever since we found out what spider-woman looks like she's lived in my mind rent free," she reads the first one. "not gonna lie i thought spider-woman would be a thirty year old woman she's hot as hell." "no one told me that olivia rodrigo and spider-woman were friends?! and that olivia knew who spider-woman was?!" i chuckle, shaking my head at olivia's playful tone as she read the tweets. "hey, you laughed!" she says, smiling at me.

"hey, what time is it? my phone's probably dead," i say. "it is... 2:40am." "shit, seriously?" "no. it's 11am," liv says sarcastically. i roll my eyes, standing up. "we should probably head back." "you're gonna sleep in your house?" she asks, standing up too. "yeah, i miss my bed," i say, pulling my mask on.

i land on olivia's balcony, olivia letting go of me. "thank you a lot for staying with me today," i say. "it's the least i could do... i'm really sorry about may. i wish i got to spend more time with her." "she really liked you," i say, smiling a little. "i hope so." olivia's arms wrap around my waist, and i hug her, closing my eyes. "text me if you need me at any time, okay?" she says. "yeah, thank you," i thank again.

she smiles, nodding and turning around, unlocking her balcony door. "hey olivia?" i say, making her turn back around. "yeah?" she asks. "i'm sorry what what i said when we fought. i didn't mean to get so mad at you, i'm really sorry," i say. olivia walks up to me, "don't worry about it. i'm so sorry for what i've said too, i guess we both have regrets," she says. "it's okay..." i mumble. "you don't need to worry about us, just worry about what's going on with you," olivia says, hugging me. i hug her back, sighing. "i'm here if you need me," liv assures.
