"hey, good morning" johnny says to faith as he walks out of his room
"hey johnny, good morning" she says back while looking up from her book to glance at him real quick
"guess who I saw yesterday" he says to the girl
"who?" faith asks as she doesn't know many people in california
"nick!" he says
"huh? are you sure it was nick? they moved back to massachusetts last year, remember?" she says setting down her book and gets up to go sit next to johnny who was sitting at the island in their kitchen
"I'm sure, I talked to him" he says pointing to the coffee asking if she wanted any
"what did you guys talk about?" she asks as she gives him a nod in response
"what he's doing in cali and how you're doing" he says eyeing faith
"what did he say?"
"they tried to do youtube again and they ended up blowing up and now live back and forth between la and somerville" he says as he hands her, her ice coffee he made
"oh, I'm not social media that much anymore so I didn't know. what did you guys say about me? hopefully good things" she says while taking a sip of her coffee while giving him a thumbs up
johnny laughs at her and says, "about your music and how we live together and stuff"
"oh" she says "I would contact him but I don't think the other two would want me to"
"faith, you shouldn't let them decide if you're friends with nick or not. he was the only one besides us to support you moving here" he says
"yeah and now look at them, living here half of the time" she scoffs
"I still think you should at least talk to nick, he really misses you, and he can't contact you since you changed your phone number"
"don't give me that look john" she says as he gave her a sad look
"what look?"
"the puppy dog one, which gets me everytime and you're not getting me this time john" he sighs as she says that
"don't start johnny, please" she says while sighing as well, "I have to get to the studio, i should be back around nine, okay?"
he gives her nod and tells her to be safe and as she leaves
"faith! are you going to release music soon?" she hears poparazzi say as she gets out of her car
"yeah! you've teased music online but still haven't released a song in almost a year!" another one says
faith keeps on walking and she sees a familiar brunette
she walks a bit faster to catch up to him
once she catches up to him, before she could say anything she realized that it wasn't nick
she sighs sadly and walks into the studio
"hey faith!" she hears her manager say
"hey" she says sighing
"what's wrong?" she asks
"can I release this song please? I need some people to hear it" faith says
"let me hear it" she says as they walk into her office
