"Uggggh why is it taking so long?" Mercury whined. "When is our new brother or sister supposed to get here?"

Mercury Aziraphale Crowley Archer, now six years old and the oldest of his siblings, whom were a set triplets, was getting quite impatient as the hours went by. He, along with his brother, Polaris Centauri, and sister, Gallifrey Rose, were spending the day, and possibly night at South Downs cottage, their grandparents home. Not even the crazy stories from Uncle Wellie were no longer distracting Mercury, but at least they were keeping his siblings occupied.

"So there we were, surrounded by demons. I fought Samyaza with tooth and nail in order to save your mother!" The triplets knew that the old Scotsman was exaggerating just a tad but it was too be expected.

Mercury slipped out of the family room and went straight into the kitchen where he found Madame Tracy preparing lunch.

"Auntie Tracy?" Mercury called out softly.

"Yes love?" Tracy turned away from her task and met the bright gaze of the eldest of the Archer triplets.

"When will the baby arrive?" Mercury asked. "It's nearly lunchtime. Daddy and Mummy sent us here early this morning...."

Tracy smiled softly as she replied. "I'm afraid I can't answer that sweetie. The best we can do is just wait and see, and hope that your Mum and the baby are okay when it's finally over."

Mercury sighed in frustration. Every grown-up said that to him whenever he would ask. Except Mum, she would just say that everything would be alright, no matter what happened.

Tracy brushed a stray red curl from Mercury's face. "Come now, why don't you give me a hand with these sandwiches? Then we'll turn on the telly for a bit...."

Tracy was suddenly interrupted by the sound of the front door of the cottage being flung open and a familiar voice declaring joyfully, "A girl! It's a girl!"

"Grandpa Crowley?" Mercury exclaimed as he dashed from the kitchen and into the adjoining hallway, meeting his Grandpa's teary amber orange gaze. "Mercury!" Crowley ran to his eldest grandchild and scooped him into his arms and hugged him tightly. "Is Mummy okay?"

"She's fine. They're fine....perfect even....you have another sister!"

"Really?" Mercury gasped.

Crowley nodded, "Really. And your Mummy and Daddy want you to meet her. Let's fetch your brother and sister."

Archangel Gabriel was crying. But these were tears of pure joy, joy that he couldn't wait to share with the rest of his family. He was waiting outside the master bedroom and fortunately he didn't have to wait very long. The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs was heard and within seconds, the Archangel met the piercing gazes of his three children.

"Kids!" Gabriel rasped as he ran to meet them, wrapping all three of them in his arms.

"Daddy, do we really have a new baby sister?" Gallifrey asked.

"Is Mummy okay?" Polaris demanded.

"Can we see them?" Mercury added.

"Yes, yes of course you can meet your new sister, my loves. But you need to be gentle, Mummy is very tired and your sister is very small because she just arrived."

"Daddy you're crying." Gallifrey observed as Gabriel scooped her up into his big strong arms. "You'll see why in a second, Tiny." Gabriel murmured as he opened the bedroom door.

Eden Alexandria Queen Fell Archer watched, awestruck, as her newborn baby daughter rubbed her eyes with chubby little fingers. "Isn't she beautiful Papa?" Eden turned to her father Aziraphale who was weeping tears of joy at the sight of his fourth grandchild.
