"I wish we could keep her Mummy." Gallifrey said as she and her brothers were petting Shutzi. The Dachshund had come into the infirmary and hopped onto Eden's bed, wagging her tail and barking in greeting.
"I do to, Freya, but she already belongs to somebody else." As Eden expected, R.P. Tyler peered into the infirmary. The old man didn't dare move as if he was afraid to enter.
"You can come in Ronald." Eden rasped softly. "Gabriel won't be back for a while. He's making us all breakfast. Isn't that right, kids?"
"Yeah, and Grandfather and Grandpa said that they'd make us waffles!" Mercury added as R.P. entered the infirmary.
"Just wanted to see where Shutzi went off to and to apologize…." R.P. stopped when Eden held up her good hand. "No need to apologize Ronald. Shutzi told me what happened and I understand. You're not the first person to be deceived by Heaven. Now, would you and Shutzi like to join us for breakfast?"
After breakfast Crowley took R.P. and Shutzi back home to Tadfield and during the drive back it started to rain again. Crowley sighed in relief that it was just regular rain this time.
