"Thank Someone that neither of you were hurt!" Aziraphale fussed as he helped Eden pack a suitcase full of clothes and a backpack full of other essential supplies.
"Yeah." Eden murmured.
"Are you alright Little One?" Aziraphale asked as he and Eden made their way downstairs.
But before she could answer, a knock was heard and Crowley opened the door and it was Adam Young and his wife, Dr. Bella Young, Eden's best friend and their son, Terrence "Terry" Neil Young, Eden's godson and Dog, who followed Terry Neil inside the cottage to greet the triplets who were enjoying tea time in the dining room.
Eden stepped forward to greet her childhood friends. "Thank you both for coming. Words can't describe how much Gabriel and I appreciate this."
"Of course Eden, but we should be thanking you for the shelter." Eden shrugged. "Archangel Falls is always here for those who need it, speaking of which, where's Uncle Newt and Auntie Anathema? And the Shadwell’s?"
"They'll be a little late." Adam reassured, "They said they'll be here before teatime is over."
"And the others?"
"The rest of the Them, and their families, my parents, the Dowlings, Peggy and Arthur are all safe. I've placed wards over all of the locations that they're located at so they will be spared from food shortages, illness and polluted water." Although Adam decided to live life as a normal man, he was still quite a powerful being.
"Good." Eden sighed with relief as she, Adam and Bella joined the others for teatime.
"We'll come visit you when we can, okay?" Eden rasped as she knelt down in front of the children.
"Do you really have to go Mummy?" Gallifrey sniffled as tears stung her eyes.
"I'm afraid so." Eden replied. "It's too dangerous for me to stay here, and with Uncle Adam here, you three and Koko will be safe."
"But we don't want you to go!" Polaris whined. "Stay here with us!"
"Even if I wanted to, I can't Lars, I promised Papa I would help him…." Her voice cracked as she continued, "And I can't bear the thought of being the reason that you're in danger."
Gabriel knelt at his wife's side. "You three be good while we're gone ok?" The Archangel's purple gaze traveled over each of his triplets. Six years old and it seemed like only yesterday when they were tiny little newborns.
"You three listen to Madame Tracy and Mercury," Gabriel turned his gaze to his oldest son, "You look after your brother and sisters."
"One last thing," Eden said as she pulled something from her pants pocket. The triplets gasped at the sight of their mother's sonic screwdriver.
"Mercury Azira Crowley Archer, I want you to hang onto this for me until I get back. And if you ever need to use it, press the button right here…" Eden showed him the button.
Mercury gaped at the sonic in his hands. "I'll take good care of it Mum."
"I know you will." Eden smiled as all three triplets darted to forward and hugged their parents tightly.
"We love you very much." Gabriel rasped. Eden couldn't say anything, she was too overwhelmed with emotion.
"Promise you'll both come back?" Polaris asked. His dark purple gaze, so much like his father's, stared into the Archangel's eyes.
"Of course we will." Gabriel replied as he ruffled Polaris's black curls. "I promise."
Crowley and Aziraphale joined the triplets and their parents.
"We'll be back before you know it!" Crowley declared as he ruffled Mercury and Polaris's red and black curls.
"And we'll come visit you with your parents." Aziraphale added as he hugged Gallifrey close, then pecked her on the cheek. Aziraphale did the same to her brothers.
"You'll come back with Mummy and Dad, won't you?" Polaris asked. Aziraphale nodded as Crowley smiled, a little too forcefully. "Of course we will!" Crowley wrapped his arms tightly around the triplets and gave them each a kiss.
"We love you three." Crowley rasped.
"So very much." Aziraphale finished.
It only became more difficult when both couples had to say their goodbyes to Kokabiela. The baby gazed up at them, completely oblivious to what was really going on. Kokabiela was in Madame Tracy's arms and the baby grinned at the sight of her parents.
"Bye Koko." Eden rasped. "I'll miss you." While Gabriel went over the baby's routine for the millionth time. "Her naptime is right after lunch and she loves to nibble and squeak her unicorn."
Tracy nodded patiently, she already knew all of this but she knew that Gabriel was saying all of this out loud to put himself at ease as Aziraphale and Crowley stepped forward to bid the baby farewell too.
As Eden's parents were saying goodbye to the kids, Eden was saying her goodbyes to the pets. She hugged Star and Hellraiser, the puppies and even Samwise Gamgee.
Hellraiser whimpered but Eden shook her head. "You have to stay here and help Adam protect the Falls while we're gone."
Gabriel handed Adam the keys to his silver Mercedes-Benz. "In case you need an extra set of wheels." He told Adam before he took Eden by the hand and left their cottage.
And finally, Crowley, Eden, Aziraphale and Gabriel made their way to the Bentley, waving one last goodbye to the triplets.
