"Thank you." Beezlebub rasped softly as Dagon drifted off into his first peaceful sleep in months. "I don't know what type of miracle you performed but it worked….." Beezlebub gripped Dagon's hand tightly relieved to see their loves pain put it ease, even if it was for a short while.

"It's called herbal tea." Aziraphale explained. Once Eden and Gabriel found the kitchen or more specifically, the canteen as it was called, she and Gabriel put the kettle they packed on the stove and he and Crowley did the rest.

"And you're more than welcome. Crowley will set his watch so we'll be ready to give Dagon another dose, meanwhile….." Aziraphale turned to Uriel, "Would you like something for your pain?"

"Nothing can be done about these blasted burns." Uriel laughed dryly. "It took Metatron days just to miracle the worst of it away."

Aziraphale stepped forward and examined the burns that ravaged Uriel's gold flecked face. "There is an herbal remedy that I can whip up, it won't instantly heal you I'm afraid, but it will ease the pain and you can rest more comfortably."

When Uriel didn't reply, Aziraphale added. "I can tell by the look in your eyes how much pain you're in."

After a moment Uriel gave a small nod and Aziraphale,  with the help of Crowley, began preparing a salve to apply to Uriel's skin as well as another batch of herbal tea for her pain.

While the husbands worked the Metatron leaned against the wall. He was quite tired, something he hadn't been in quite some time. The first time was many millennia ago when the very first conflict between Heaven and the Opposition began. When Lucifer and his supporters turned against the Almighty which led to so many of his dearest friends becoming Fallen, and even more of them dying in the bloodbath that took place beforehand…..

"Metatron." Aziraphale turned to glance back at the high ranking angel. "I recommend you get some rest." Aziraphale turned back to his work.

The Metatron sighed, "Perhaps some rest would do me some good." The Metatron walked to a rickety chair set in the far corner of the room and sat down. This would do, and while he regained his strength, he would watch Principality Aziraphale's every move as he prepared these herbal remedies. Although quite strange, the Metatron found these healing methods quite fascinating……

"Today went much better than I expected." Aziraphale murmured as he and Crowley made their way to the barracks, following Eric's directions.

"I suppose so." Crowley shrugged as they finally reached the barracks, where they found Gabriel unpacking his and Eden's belongings.

"Where's Eden?" Crowley demanded, instantly becoming anxious. He didn't want Eden to be by herself in this place……"

"She went off with Hester and Eric." Gabriel replied.

"And you didn't go with her?!" Crowley snapped.

"I made sure that the wards around this place were still intact and I even reinforced them." The Archangel replied tightly. "I wouldn't let her go off on her own if I didn't think she would be safe." The Archangel didn't want to say the real reason why he didn't want to follow out loud. He didn't want to see the place where Eden had fallen from the sky and cracked the pavement…..or the place where she died in Aziraphale's arms. He wasn't sure how he would react if he saw those places again.

Crowley growled under his breath but stopped himself when Aziraphale placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure she won't be long my dear, come, let's unpack our things shall we?"

"Fine." Crowley grunted.

There wasn't much furniture in these particular barracks. A single dresser, a metal wardrobe, a set of cubbies on the right side of the wall, six small beds and only one window. It wasn't much but they would have to make do. Who knows how long they would have to be here.

As the trio finished unpacking, an excited voice called out, "Gabriel! Daddy! Papa! You won't believe what we just found!"
