"Trick or treat!" You shoved your large Costco bag in Lights direction, smiling with glee, showing off your fake fangs.

"Woah! You scared me." Light acted afraid, placing a hand over his heart. "Spare me, Ms. Dracula, I might get a heart attack!"

Rolling your eyes at his theatrics, you exclaim. "Great. Now I can take all your candy!" 

Jokingly, he played along and dumped his entire stash in your bag. King sized chocolate bars fell out of his pumpkin carrier and your already full bag was filled to the brim. With wide eyes, you run away in the hallway yelling, "No takesie backsies!"

He chuckled as he saw you round a corner. A chocolate coin fell down and you rushed back to take it. Running all the way to the task room to raid some more, you snacked on your favourite chocolates, deciding that stomach and toothaches will be a problem for future you.

As you entered the task force room, you were frozen in your spot, stricken with horror.

"No one is wearing a costume." You whispered under your breath, causing Aizawa to finally notice your presence. "Not even Matsuda."

Said man shivered with the malicious intent behind the creepy muttering.

"I knew this would happen. Good thing I brought backup!" You yell, causing the entire task force to go on lockdown. You dashed around the room faster than the speed of sound to decorate it with bats, cobwebs and pumpkins in every corner, crevice and Matsuda.

Clapping your hands to get rid of the dust, you beam at the festive sight. Feeling something amiss, you place a finger on your chin, trying to remember what was missing while ignoring the indignant squawks of Aizawa.  

Spotting a messy mop of black hair, you remember.

"I missed one tiny detail."

You rustle in your side bag, also full of candy, to pull out a clean, white blanket. Taking the plain fabric, you eye L.

"Y/N. I recommend you reconsider your plan." L attempts to appease you but it doesn't work.

You rush to him but he spins the chair, doing a roll in the air and landing on 4 limbs like a cat. Chasing him around the room, the task force deadpans as you yell, "L~ It'll only take a second! You'll look so much more handsomer, I promise!"

Eventually, you jumped onto him and draped the fabric over his head, covering his entire face with the exception of his eyes where two holes in the blanket were. 

"..." L stayed silent, finally accepting defeat.

"Aww!" You exclaim. "You look much better now."

L didn't know if he should be offended because now his entire face was hidden.

In the doorway, Light entered to see you sitting on Ls back, pinning him to the carpet. The task force was gathered around you two and it looked like there was a pentagram made of ketchup around the detectives body.

"Why is Ryuzaki under Y/N?" 

"Uhh..." You hurriedly try to think of a excuse to explain the peculiar situation you were in. "He wasn't in the halloween spirit."

"Are you sacrificing him because of that?" Light asked, an eyebrow raised.

Before the others could refute his claim, you shushed them, threatening to curse their entire bloodline.

"Yes."
