Torchwick sat at the beach.

The search party had called in earlier, and he'd told the crew on the ship to check the radar. But he didn't care about that. He was waiting for Bagley to get to the shore. The Dust was all that mattered. The only one in the search party he cared about in any way was Neo.

"Radar had him on screen," he said in the scroll. "He was moving randomly."

"Not in our direction?" He could hear Sun near Perry.

"Yep," he said. "Random. Like a circle."

"Maybe he's lost her," Sun said. "She got away and he's searching for her."

"Or he ate her and he's moving on," Torchwick said.

He could hear Sun grunt in anger. "Listen, my friend is out there, and she could be running for her life from some gigantic, turned-on ape!"

"Monkey-Man, I know how you feel," Torchwick said. "I feel the same. But we have a job to do,  here. We must rise above all our self-interests."

"You hypocritical bastard!" Sun said. "All you care about is being at the top!"

The scroll was hung up. Torchwick shrugged. The crew was undoubtedly continuing their search for Blake. He didn't truly care about the search. It didn't hinder the task he came here to accomplish.

He only regretted sending Neo with them . . .
