Roman stood at the top of the wall.

An airship had flown by, and dropped crates filled with barrels of chloroform. They called in a bigger ship to arrive at the island, with a large room to keep something big contained inside.

But it would take days before it would arrive. For now, Torchwick watched from above the wall as his men set off explosives. The explosion shook the village, and created a large hole in the ground.

"Alright!" he shouted. "Get the gases ready!"

Bagley was watching the situation from nearby. Torchwick couldn't see his face, but he knew there was a look of doubt written all over it.

"You think I'm crazy?" he said.

"If I had found Dust," Roman said, "Beacon, Atlas, Haven, Shade would be crawling all over here. Not this one, pal. Kong is all me and the White Fang. A Roman Torchwick exclusive."

"You think it'll impress the boss?" Bagley said, crossing his arms. "Promise Dust, bring back a monkey?"

"You think anyone's seen anything like this?" Roman said. "Kong will be our greatest weapon. The kingdoms will need time to process what they're dealing with before they see what's coming."

Torchwick turned around to look out at the other side of the wall. Then, he saw her.

Neo emerged from the trees. Nobody was following her. Roman didn't care.

"Neo!" he called to her.

She waved from below.

"Where are the others?!" Torchwick said.

Neo put a finger against her throat, and swiped it across.

They're all dead . . .
