The shore boat arrived at the beach.

Roy Bagley climbed out. The news he was bringing with him brought a smile to his face. He saw the tarp that had been set up. Underneath, he could see Torchwick seated next to equipment that allowed him to use his scroll on the island.

Roman smiled as he saw Bagley, and he made his way over to him.

"Well, Roman," Bagley said before he could talk, "I finished testing samples from the cave. It will be great Dust."

Torchwick's eyes widened in excitement. "I knew it!"

He cheered, and rushed to the tarp to grab a cigarette. Bagley smiled, and sat down in one of the chairs. Torchwick lit a match and brought it to the cigar. A celebratory smoke. But, before he could light it, Bagley spoke up.

"Like I said, it will be great Dust. As soon as Mother Nature finishes cooking it a little longer."

Torchwick pulled the match away from the cigar, but his smile didn't fade. "How much longer?"

"Hardly a tick of the clock," Bagley said, "in geological terms. Say 100 years."

Torchwick's jaw dropped, and the cigar fell into the sand. Bagley, on the other hand, was giggling. To him, this was just hilarious.

"Till then," he continued, "you'd better start preparing our weapons with mule piss."

He burst out laughing, while Torchwick kicked the cigar, sending it flying into the ocean. He swung the match, and the flame on it vanished. He tossed it away, and the wind blew the sand over it, hiding it. He fell onto a chair, and pulled the hat down to cover his eyes.

"I hate to kick a fella when he's dead," Bagley said, "but I told you. You shouldn't have told the boss you were bringing in the big one."

Torchwick kept quiet, refusing to acknowledge anything Bagley said. After a brief pause, he slowly sat up, lifting the hat up. His eyes had brightened up, and he started to smile.

"The big one," he said. He shot up out of the chair, and grabbed his scroll. "Oh yeah? Who says I ain't gonna?" He lifted the scroll, and he spoke into it. "Torchwick to Explorer. Get me a channel to Vale. I want an engineer drop."

The big one. Torchwick smiled to himself.

He'd bring them a big one alright . . .
