"King Kong!"

The name was spreading through the White Fang. It was the name of the weapon Roman Torchwick had brought with him from an uncharted island. None of them knew what this weapon was. Secrets hadn't often been kept in the organization, but this was different. Rumors were spreading throughout the organization as to what it was.

And, tonight, King Kong would finally be revealed.

Members of the White Fang from all over Vale heard the news. The event was to take place on an island, which was just outside of Vale. It used to be used for the Vytal Festival, a celebration of the end of the Great War. There was a park that was previously used for food carts, which led up to a massive building, shaped like a football field, which had been used for the tournament fights. Years ago, after a terrorist attack, the location of the Vytal Festival had been moved, and the island was abandoned.

Now, the building that was used for tournaments had been repurposed for this specific event: the unveiling of King Kong.

Faunus walked into the building, and took their seats. The tournament shined brightly underneath the night sky, and the shattered moon.

Outside of the tournament, Blake and Sun were restrained by multiple White Fang soldiers. Roman Torchwick stood beside Neopolitan, smiling as he peered at the massive crowd outside. This was it. The moment he had been waiting for.

"Look at this," he said, gesturing to the crowd outside. "My adoring public."

"Your adoring public?" Blake said with a roll of her amber eyes. "They're not here for you."

Roman looked back to her. "I'm aware. But, when they see what Kong will do for their cause, I will be adored."

"Adored?" Blake said. "The White Fang doesn't work with humans, especially ones like you. You're being used, Torchwick."

"For now," he admitted. "But, like it or not, the people who hired me are going to change the world. I'm merely staying at the top of the food chain."

"And getting some attention while you're at it," Sun added.

Torchwick smiled. "You can put it that way, sure."

He turned around. "This isn't just my night. It's your ape's, too. You're lucky I have been so generous to keep you two a secret from Adam."

Blake glared. "You can't control Kong, Torchwick. He's not a weapon with a trigger to pull. He's an animal with his own mind."

Torchwick turned around, and smiled at her. "Oh, I think I can. The best way to put someone into submission . . . is to threaten the one thing they care about."

Blake rolled her eyes. "He's an animal. He can't even understand me."

Roman looked back out at the crowd. "We'll see about that."

He stepped out onto the stage, and Neo followed him. Blake and Sun watched, held by the White Fang soldiers.

Roman was handed a microphone by one of the soldiers. None of the faunus in the seats cheered for the human. Everyone stared at him, waiting for him to get on with the point. But, even so, Torchwick bowed to the audience.

"Thank you, thank you!" he said. "Please, hold your applause!" With that out of the way, he stood up, and continued. "Now, I'll be the first to admit, humans... are the worst." He saluted as an example. "Case in point. So, I understand why you would like to see us all locked away, or, better yet, killed!"

Sun looked to Blake. "So, is he going somewhere with this?"

She didn't respond. She only stared, waiting for the right moment to strike.
