The cove was massive.

It was surrounded by high rock walls, and waterfalls fell from the walls, creating a lake in the middle of the large area.

Blake wondered if Kong had been here before. He'd been wandering the island in what seemed to be random directions. Now that he was here, he started to slow down his walk. He held Blake in the palm of his hand. She stayed seated, looking around at the beautiful landmark Kong had taken her to.

Kong made his way to one of the waterfalls. He brought his hand underneath it, and the water poured over Blake. It was then she realized why he'd brought her here. He was bathing her. She started rubbing the mud from her arms and legs, and it washed off into a puddle in the palm of Kong's hand. Her clothes were soaked, but she didn't really care.

Kong tilted his hand, and Blake slipped off. She fell into the lake. All the remaining mud washed away under the water. Then, she felt something odd. Energy was surging into her neck.

She swam to the surface, and she saw Kong's hand dipping into the water. She grabbed onto it, and he lifted her back up. She sat in the palm of his hand. She reached to her neck, pulled the soaking scarf out of the way, and held onto the collar. The water had shut down its energy source, and it was barely clinging to her. She tugged it off, taking the scarf with it. She felt the cool breeze against her neck. It felt amazing.

Blake tossed the collar into the lake. She squeezed the water out of the scarf, but she didn't put it back on yet. She took a moment to assess how her Aura felt. It was charging up, but she didn't think it would come back in a while. Not long now, and she might have a better chance of escaping this situation.

She looked at Kong, trying to avoid eye contact. But there was something about his expression that drew her interest. He looked at her with wide, almost loving eyes as he looked over her. He took a deep breath, and breathed at Blake. His breath was hot, and smelled like bananas, but she could feel the water drying off. Kong repeatedly blew Blake, slowly drying her.

When he finally stopped, he looked at her with a smile, not showing his teeth. There was no aggressive intentions. His eyes had no malice. They looked at her with nothing but affection. Blake didn't want to stay on this island for the rest of her life, but all of the fear she used to have towards this beast was gone.

She'd promised herself she wouldn't fall for the island's beauty. But these weren't the eyes of a monster.

They were far too innocent . . .
