Aiden's POV
They say when the right person comes into your life, you just know. That is exactly how I felt when Aly came into my life. I knew I was never letting her leave again.
I first saw her when I was 16 and she was 13. Curled up like a ball on the school terrace, being bullied by some jocks. The boys were saying shit about how her parents don't care about her.
The girls were hitting and poking her with sticks. In situations like these I usually don't pay much attention.
But the second I looked at her face I saw something that wasn't supposed to be there, she looked different.
She looked empty.
There were tears streaming down her face but her eyes looked blank as she looked at me. She was supposed to look at me for help. Instead it felt like she was looking through me. That I wasn't even there.
It was so bad that I felt like I could do anything to swipe that off her face. Anything to see a smile on that glorious face.
So I did just that. I protected her, never let anyone ever touch her again. I know I am too proud to say this but I am happy that I was successful in removing that emptiness off her face.
I knew I was gone the moment I looked at her. That she was supposed to be my endgame. It was like I just knew no one could ever make me feel the way she does. The feeling was so good I was addicted to it.
Funny! Now when I look in front of me, is a boy, breathing heavily, completely flushed by my close proximity, giving me the exact same feeling she did.
And all I can so is just stare at his beautiful face trying to figure out what the fuck is it?
How did he manage to make me feel for him?
The second I saw him entering the cafe heading my way I lost all the control i had gathered over myself over the days. I purposely didn't text him back because I just couldn't. It was so scary to go through all of that again.
Yet I find myself pinning him in the alleyway besides the café wanting to just hold him and taste those luscious lips and then leave him breathless.
"You make me go crazy little love!" I breathed upon his lips just wanting to have a taste. My eyes at them too.
"The feeling's mutual old man." He teased yet his voice was filled with the same desperation as he licked his lips.
"Old man?"I gasped, seriously offended at the new nickname he just gave me.
"Yep. You are way too tall. And you are older than me so why not?" He replied with a shy smile.
"Is that all I am?" I asked with a smirk leaning even closer.
"Maybe a bit hot?" He replied looking everywhere but at my face.
"A bit?" I asked putting up my finger. I slowly started trailing it across his face towards his jaw.
I lifted his chin up as he looked me with those beautiful eyes shining,
"Maybe a lot?" He said and bit his lower lip somehow embarrassed."God stop being so adorable." I inched closer, my breath fanning over his cheek. I pecked his cheek lightly as he closed his eyes.
"I will eat you up."His wide eyes met mine then he smiled. For a minute we just stared at each other. Breathing in each other's warmth.
He smelled just as heavenly as he did before. For a second i felt like he smelled like Aly too but shrugged that thought away.
