Author's POV
2 weeks later
Aiden frowned when he felt himself unable to find the usual warmth around him, he squeezed his eyes shut before opening them and looking around.
Hearing him move around Blue's sleep spell broke and he whined, Aiden soothed him and rubbed his back to calm him back to sleep.
He looked to his other side only to realise why his own sleep spell broke. Aly was missing, and the space where she usually sleeps was also cold showing that she had left for quite some time now.
Aiden frowned in concern since he really just wanted to have some rest but at the same time wanted Aly back in his arms too.
He took deep breaths to not let his imagination run wild and tried not to give it a thought.
She's fine.
She must be thirsty.
Blue's stitches had just been removed the day before and he wanted cuddles and felt extra clingy, so they had a long night.
But Aly had other ideas.
Aiden slowly got up from the bed careful not to wake Blue up.
He had completely restricted Blue from going to the office for a month and since it had only been 3 weeks since he was shot, he was not allowed to work at all.
The best part of it all was that even Aiden didn't go to the office and worked everything from home as well. And their colleges as well as their medical leaves were being handled by Aiden of course. Them being well was all he wanted and it was all that mattered.
All they did at home was rest and heal from their wounds. Even after all that, Aiden was right there, always to take care of both of them.
Always carrying Blue around so that he doesn't walk around, sometimes even Aly would just jump over his back, and then he would carry both of them around whenever they wanted to move around.
The last two weeks were the best for Blue and Aly since they were living their best lives, Aiden cooked for them, he bathed them, he walked them, he was literally the parent in the house.
But at the end of the day, they both would make sure to show him how grateful they were with their hands and mouths amongst other stuff.
They would make sure he knows how much they love him by their actions. Every night Aiden would have the best sleep after having hours long pleasure.
Aly too wasn't any better than a mom when it came to Blue, she used to feed him by her hands every single day, and Aiden would feed her at the same time.
And then both of them would then feed Aiden together. Safe to say, they all were the happiest people on earth.
Aiden stood up from the bed and grabbed his phone, he was about to walk out of the room to look for Aly when a hand held his.
He looked back to see Blue sitting up and rubbing his eyes still sleepy,
"Where're you going?"Aiden sighed feeling guilty that he woke him up, he really wanted him to sleep after the intense love making they did last night.
He pulled Blue's hands away from his eyes and tucked his hair behind his ears before leaning to kiss him over his eyes and then his cheeks and then very gently he pecked his lips.
"Queen is not here, I just wanted to look for her." Aiden said and Blue frowned before looking around the bed.
His eyes widened when he didn't see her anywhere at all. He sat straight and was off the bed but Aiden was quick to hold his hand,
"Calm down, am sure she was just thirsty." Aiden said pointing towards the empty jar at the bed side table.
