Chapter 47: Masquerade Special (Finale)

Both Aiden and Aly had come downstairs from their own things to find Blue by the drink counter, having... Vodka?

Aiden's eyes widened and he rushed towards Blue to take the glass from his hand before he could put it to his lips.

"No, you're not having that." Aiden told Blue who turned to look at him with a very weird look.

"Baby why are you drinking, you never drink." Aly said as she ran her hand through his hair, he turned his eyes to look at her too.

Then he scoffed at them before turning towards Claire while removing Aly's hand from his hair, it made all of them look at him in confusion.

"Little love?" Aiden asked putting a hand over Blue's shoulder, once again Blue looked at him with that weird look and then again turned away from him ignoring Aiden.

Aly gave Aiden a scared look, she was worried whether Blue was mad at them for something or not.

"Why were you drinking Blue? I know you never drink." Nick asked after another few moments of awkward silence.

"I just felt like it." This time Blue replied to Nick's question making both Aly and Aiden look at him in concern.

"Are you mad at us love? Did we do something?" Aly asked standing right in front of him and cupping his face with both her hands.

Blue put a hand up while looking onto Aly's face, Aly watched at Blue's hand went to the back of her head, he then put his hand right over where she had gotten hurt.

His touch was very gentle but because of how hard she had hit her head, even his gentle touch was enough to make her hiss. Unfortunately only Blue heard it since he was close to her and was looking at her intently.

He looked into her eyes and Aly tried to mask her pain as much as she could, a lone tear rolled down Blue's face when he saw Aly so desperately trying to mask her pain.

Aly saw something in Blue's eyes, he had a blank face but his eyes were glossy and red.

Aly wiped his tears and put her forehead to his,
"What happened baby? Did someone say something? Did someone hurt you?" Aly asked while she kept wiping his tears that just kept rolling down his face.

Aiden had no idea what was happening right now. He was about to move ahead and talk to Blue when suddenly his phone started ringing. It was from his main office security, so he had to take the call.

He went slightly away from them and accepted the call just to receive the shock of his life. Turns out all the three of his security cars that were at the venue for their protection had been shot.

All his security that had accompanied him and Aly to the venue was killed while his security team head was severely injured and was also the only person alive that too barely.

He immediately called for backup and asked his whole security team to look into it.

He felt like screaming out loud. He was becoming really restless now. What the hell is up with the day? Why is everyone messing with him?

His phone dinged, indicating he had received a text message. He opened it and gritted his teeth at the message.

'Told you to stay away from Aron Ray, you just don't get it do you? Stay the fuck away! This time it's just your security team, next time it will your pretty partners.'

Aiden yelled and punched the nearby wall at full strength,
"Who the fuck are you?" He talked to himself while pulling his hair.

He was so desperate for a smoke right now but he can't, he had promised Blue. He won't break it. He called his other team to send his condolences and money as well to the family members of all the security who died.
