"Let's start the meeting now." Aiden said as he sat down on his chair and looked ahead at his team members and then at his boyfriend who was a part of this meeting.
This was the first time Blue was a part of a meeting and he was even asked to speak about a project.
Even if Blue didn't say it, Aiden could sense his boyfriend's nervousness from across the room.
The team leader Mark was supposed to give all of the presentation while Blue was chosen to just help him. This was what was supposed to happen and was Aiden informed about.
But then he couldn't help the frown that etched his face when he saw that instead of Mark getting up, Blue got up and walked up to in front of the small stage to give the presentation.
Aiden could see that Blue himself was confused when Mark just nudged him to get up and walk to stage instead of getting up himself.
"Sorry gentlemen, I am having a sore throat, but don't worry my team member will be giving the presentation in place of me." Mark said and he didn't even get up to say all of this.
Aiden looked at him, his nose flaring in anger at the careless male. He always gets an off vibe about Mark, and he doesn't stop proving Aiden right.
Blue looked down and then took a deep breath, he did know everything about the presentation but he was really nervous as it was his first time speaking in a meeting where even investors are involved.
He didn't want to screw up, he was startled when he felt soft fur on his palm, he opened his eyes and looked down to see Agnes nuzzling her head under his palm.
It is pretty normal for the jaguar to join Aiden for his meetings, its clearly her choice. No one controls her, she goes wherever she wants.
Blue smiled at that and petted Agnes just how she likes it, at her chin.
Aiden smiled too when he saw Blue's tensed shoulders relaxing slowly.

He was genuinely worried and would have interfered if Agnes hadn't helped. He knows it is wrong and Blue is supposed to sought his challenges himself.
But Aiden is Aiden, he does what he wants. And seeing his partner in trouble is something he can never see.
Everyone was looking at the scene with big eyes, they were completely blown off at the closeness of the new employee and the scary animal.
They have an idea about Aiden and Blue as well but not anything that proves their thoughts right, neither do they care though. And even if they did it's not like they can do anything about it, too scared of the CEO.
"Go take your seat baby." Blue softly told Agnes who licked his hand once and then went to sit besides Aiden's chair who too petted him showing how proud he was. Agnes purred at his touch.
